A Mexican Treasure. Wyndham Taos is built on the former property of Nicolai Fechin a local community artist, and his residence, situated next to the resort, is now the home of the Taos Art Museum. From here its a short stroll to the quaint shops, museums and restaurants of this famous artist colony. The natural beauty of this area surrounds you whatever time of year you visit. In the winter, skiing and snowboarding opportunities are endless, while the rest of the year brings hiking, biking and kayaking through the dramatic landscape. Art or adventure - Taos has it all, with a landscape that is waiting to cast its spell on you.
Please note: Now through June 30 the owner kitchen will be undergoing renovations. Guests can expect dust and noise in addition to the intermittent closure of this common-area amenity.
The resort is located 6,650 ft above sea level, which may require some adjustment for those living at lower altitudes.

The streetcar house was the perfect place to enjoy the weekend in Santa Cruz. Claudine (email hidden)ly, radiant soul with killer food recommendations. Our private entrance, clean and colorful room and bathroom, and proximity to both the beach and downtown are some of the pros of this unique residence. The backyard, filled with cob house structures, koi pond, a sauna, and some plump chickens, is a visitor attraction in itself. There's also an incredible tree house from which one can see a great view of the surrounding area. All in all, a highly recommended, quintessential Santa Cruz experience
Host requested late check in of 6pm and early check out of 9am which we agreed to. While on route to BnB host texted us that she wouldn’t be there until 7:30pm so we had to wait around for her. The room smells musty and slightly moldy. Covers smelled unclean and sheets had suspicious wrinkles in them as if slept upon. One of the 2 beds was a very old hard futon. The ‘large’ room with a garden view is actually rather small, overlooking an unkempt backyard with chicken feces and a green pond; yard is a work site for refurbishing the small cottage in yard, so she can sell her home, that host used until around 10:pm to mix cement outside our door . The room is cold and cluttered with tiny space for your belongings. Host shared sauna with one of the 3 in our party which was ok, but inappropriately walked naked up to door to yell to other 2 of us to shut off outside light, which was not okay with other guests. We ran out of toilet paper with no refill. The bathroom door squeaks very loudly, host shares bathroom with another door into it and asked us to shut our door in the night. Every time someone gets up to use bathroom other guests will be woken up. Only one towel each and no washcloths; host had their towels on towel hooks. If you like staying in a hovel, this place is for you. I almost called my credit card company to try to get half my money back but didn't want more drama.
Claudine was a very gracious host. She went above and beyond to make sure our accommodations were great. Claudine was always available to answer questions and extremely helpful. We had a very nice time in CO and were happy with our stay; thank you so much for helping make our trip a special one. We definitely plan on coming back!
We stayed in the two bedroom deluxe (which we got upgraded to for free). It was really nice and had plenty of space for four of us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Other than the weather being terrible, it was a good trip.
This is a time share through Wyndham resorts so it is more of a hotel feel than an AirBNB home rental. You are at the mercy of the Wyndham staff and not the host which for us resulted in getting keys to a unit that was already occupied and we walked in on other renters at 1AM in the morning. The Wyndham staff quickly found us another rental unit with a jacuzzi but it was a hiccup in the check in process. The rates were great through Claudine and for that we were very appreciative. The Wyndham resort gives you $5 discount to Wolf Creek day passes and a small discount to The Springs Resort. Overall we were happy with our stay.
Since Claudine is selling the house and moving, this room will not be available much longer. It was very interesting to see the cob structures in her backyard, and to admire her creativity and skill in building the tree house and designing the "street car" house.
Our stay in Pagosa was lovely. It's one of our favorite places. The room was great. It was spacious, clean, and having the hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes. The Wyndam staff was friendly and helpful and our host was helpful.
Quaint accommodations on a quiet street. Claudine is welcoming and personable. Great place to enjoy downtown Santa Cruz.
This place is both gorgeous and fascinating! Claudine is a really kind and is willing to give her advice to enjoy the city. Fanny and I really loved our staying in the "Streetcar". I highly recommend Claudine airbnb!
