Killington Skiing, Pico Peak, Sugar Bush, Mad River are all within distance. Killington is 14 miles away. Fall folliage is fabulous; kitchen well equipped; very light and lovingly cared for.
Spring and summer are just as wonderful. I am walking distance to the White River where there is canoeing, tubing and swimming. Within walking distance is the Gaysville Campgrounds. Here you'll find river access to a fabulous swimming hole in the White River as well as trails to explore or walk your dog.

The space
The chalet is on 11 acres with a log home in view up the hill. There is a pond near by as well as a bubbling brook out the window. It is very private, lots of hiking, dogs welcomed, and 14 miles from Killington Ski , Woodstock, Hanover NH, lakes, and the White River is right here. Horse back riding, Quechee Gorge, Pico Peak for skiing- . The best Fall folliage in the state. A chalet built and filled with love. 2 decks, we'll stocked kitchen, cozy and peaceful. Now open!
Enjoy outdoor fires by the pond at night with a S'mores package or grilling on the Weber provided for your enjoyment. There are 2 decks with outdoor furniture to allow you to enjoy the surrounding wooded area.

Lots of wonderful restaurants; many hidden trails for hiking; lots of tourist attractions nearby while still very private. Cross Country, downhill, snow shoes, atv trails. Tubing and canoeing on the White River.

Neighborhood highlights

I built a log home 53 years ago and moved up permanently 7 years ago having lived all my life in NY. Vermont is such a special place and we live in the most beautiful part. Cross the Gaysville bridge which spans the White River and enter our fabulous river community. Home to back trails, privacy, and many nearby ski areas.
