Interaction with Guests
I would love to give you some great tips about Berlin and especially about what to do. I really like "alternative" places so feel free to ask if you wanna discover some non touristic places.
I speak French, English and German.
The flat is exactly located between the most lively and trendy areas in Berlin : Kreuzberg, Neukölln and Friedrichshain.
You can find at 500m of the flat an organic supermarket and 3 regulars supermarkets and a mini mall with a post office and a bank.
15 minutes walk from Skalitzer Strasse where you can find one of the greatest restaurants, bars and club scene. 5 minutes till the great Treptower Park.
You can reach the flat by train : station Treptower Park (on the ring) or by bus lines 104, 167 or 194.
I would advice to rent a bike for visiting Berlin. That's the nicer and the most environmental friendly way :)
Other Things to Note
Regarding Parking : possibilities to park for free in front of the house or around. You just have to be lucky ;)
I have pretty high cleaning expectancies and expect the same from you guests ;)
For example : you will be asked to take off your shoes and leave them by the door.
The bathroom|restroom and kitchen are shared with me.
Regarding the kitchen, you can use the fridge-freezer and (email hidden) isn't allowed except some non cooked meals like breakfast or sandwich for example.
I love pets but unfortunately they are not allowed in the building.
Non smoking flat.
The Vintage Corner is great. It is a really nice appartement between Neuköln and Friedrichshain. In those neighborhoods we found enough to see for our 4 days at Julie's cozy vintage and clean flat. Julie is very welcoming and had nice suggestions for sightseeing and breakfast and dinner as well. We brought our own bicycles, which we could parc safely in the backyard. Moving by bike is a must in Berlin I should say. I surely can recommend Julie's place.
We really enjoyed staying in Julie's adorable flat! The location was also quite central, with many cool places close by. We felt very welcome. When we arrived, Julie served us cold drinks and gave us a lot of good tips on things to do and places to go. It was a perfect introduction to Berlin!
I have stayed in Julie's Vintage Corner for four nights during my recent trip to Berlin. Julie was an amazing host, so as her flatmates Christian! Julie's hospitality and helpfulness has made the flat felt like home and made my travel in Berlin very pleasant! The flat was very clean and looked as cosy as the pictures! Would highly recommended the place to anyone and again, thank you!
I've been traveling around Germany and stayed with my girl-friend in Julie's place for a couple of nights. I received exceptionally warm welcome. Julie was very kind with us and tried to make ourselves comfortable. I'm totally satisfied with the accommodation. The only minor thing, that is quite common to other places, is noise coming from morning traffic :) I would prefer staying in Julie's place when next time in Berlin.
Thank you Julie! :)
Julie was very nice and welcoming. The directions to her house for perfect. Peaceful and nice neighbourhood . Had a great time in Berlin and would love to come back next year and stay here again.
