Stay in a cabin on a homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about 10-minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings. There is a second home on the property that is also available and listed on Airbnb. The place can and has easily fit numerous camping arrangements on the 13 acre plot. Pets are welcome.

The space
This is a great spot to relax, and unplug a bit (if you wish). We have all the things that you need if you don't want to -- flat screen, cable, wifi, etc. -- but the thousands of lightning bugs, landscape, patio, hammock, fire pit, hundreds of singing birds, deer and turkey saying hello are also a nice excuse to wait a little to answer that text.

There's a fire pit on the patio, full kitchen with a double oven, a grill, serving dishes and cookware, and all the basic (and some not so basic) spices and condiments. The hammock is a particular favorite to take a long nap in...

The place is also over a hundred years old, and is an original homestead as indicated by the plaque on the large white barn. All the buildings were hand built -- except for the building you'll be staying in.

The place is located in a rural setting, and the nearest neighbors are about half a mile away although there is another home on the property that may also be rented on Airbnb. And as said in the summary, the charming town of Hastings has everything you need and is a short 10-15 min drive away -- depending on how you drive.
