  • Such a great flat! Awesome location close to the underground & all the main attractions in the city center. John was a fantastic host; waited for us at the flat after our train arrived, was accommodating with regards to checkout times, had plenty of guidebooks on hand for us to use!

  • John greeted us on arrival to the building in Prague. He was very helpful with suggestions for getting around the city. The flat is exactly as portrayed in the photos, no surprises or shortcomings from the description. The air conditioner was excellent, and very helpful during the hot month of July. The only issue we had was the WiFi broke on our 2nd day, and was not fixed until after we left a few days later. This was not John's fault, as the wifi was hacked and the provider cut off the service. That was the only issue we had. John is very attentive and helpful with any issues with the flat. I would stay here again if i return to Prague without hesitation. It was also very quiet for sleeping, and the roof deck was a very nice amenity.

  • Prague completely blew us away with its beauty and this apartment was the perfect place to stay!! We loved how close it was to the grocery store and department store. It was an easy walk to all the main attractions such as the old town square and the astronomical clock, Charles Bridge, the river. It was so refreshing to live in a neighborhood that was not touristy and to be able to experience life in Prague as the locals would!! Everything about the apartment was great, it was clean and neat, awesome beds, even the couch was an awesome bed for our son! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Prague and John was so friendly and accommodating!

  • We have just returned from a long weekend in June at this lovely apartment. Very central. The terrace was great for enjoying the sun! Comfortable space which I would definitely recommend!

  • John was great, he went out of his way to organise an early bag drop off for us which was really helpful. The location was great, it’s just a short 5- 10 minute walk into the old square, and far enough away from the really busy area so it is nice and quiet. The apartment was beautiful, it was really neat and tidy and had everything we needed. We would absolutely book again when we are back in Prague! We loved it.

  • Great apartment!! We appreciated the good location with tons of food and bar choices nearby. Also- the area felt very safe and was quiet at night. It was really hot when we were there- so the AC was fabulous. Separate units for upstairs and down was great. We used the washer/ dryer- but hanging up clothes was quicker to dry. Nice to not have to find a laundromat.
We had wine on the roof deck at night - lovely!!

Would not hesitate to stay again. Loved Prague and the Apartment!! We did. OT need anything from owners while we were there- but he seemed very nice on arrival.

  • John the host was there to meet us when we arrived at apartment and stayed chatting for about 1 1/2 hours ! He was really nice and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and location.

  • My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. While this does not have the lived in feel and conveniences of other apartments (e.g., laundry detergent) it is nevertheless an excellent find. For example, you're only a couple of blocks from an excellent grocery store and while exceedingly close to all of the sites you're far enough removed (only a couple of blocks) that you feel like you're living in a neighborhood that a local would choose. Also, the apartment is wonderfully quiet. There is a lovely and decently sized balcony - we enjoyed a cup of coffee on the balcony (in March) and contemplated how amazing it would be to have that space in the summer.

  • This review is the combined input of a 29 year old American male and 24 year old German female written by the male.

The first thing you´ll notice when you stay here is how professional the host is. The next thing you´ll notice is the four flights of stairs which we actually appreciated for the workout. However, on one occasion when I left something upstairs and didn´t realize until we got outside, the stairs were slightly less appreciated.

It´s a really nice, clean place and set up perfectly. So perfectly that we haven´t had to contact the host for anything the entire time we´ve been here.

The only ding on the place is the bathroom door. It is a sliding frosted glass door that does not prevent those wonderful bathroom sounds from exiting the room and if your partner is sitting on the couch they´re hearing everything. Thankfully the sink water pressure is very high and loud so you can mask the noises. Sorry John but your water bill is probably a bit higher than it would have been otherwise!

The location is pretty much perfect. Prague 1 is walkable in a single day and this place is a block away from a great supermarket and two blocks away from a small park with a sidewalk circling it which is almost exactly .5km a lap and perfect for running around without worrying about vehicle traffic.

...about Prague. She was expecting a city of criminals and I was expecting a city full of Playboy models and in reality it´s neither. It´s an up and coming city without a trashy person in site. Probably a mini-version of Paris 50 years ago. The only seedy looking person we saw the entire stay was a beggar and we joked that he was a former criminal out of work.

The strip clubs were disappointing if you´re expecting world class women. They weren´t anything better than a typical mid-market city. We also went to a well-known night club -- it was ´okay´ but definitely inferior to what you´d find in Berlin.

We saw all the typical ´tourist´ stuff in two days. I would recommend setting aside three days for a trip to Prague and you couldn´t do better than staying at John and Petra´s place.

John your internet has the same SSID as someone else and because of this I was unable to connect to it with my long range wireless card as my computer was finding the distant one as well. I recommend renaming it by one letter or something.
