The living room has a TV with a swivel base that can be turned to face the bedroom, if you feel like you want to watch TV from bed.

There's also a leather sofa, a coffe table, a a genuine leather "butterfly chair" (also known as a "BKF "chair), a leather bean bag (or "puff sofa") and a couple of chairs so as to accommodate up to eight guests.
Next to the kitchen and slightly removed from the living room there is a small dinning table with leather chairs for up to four guests.
The radiant floor heating delivers the heat from the pipes buried in the subfloor which quietly and slowly heat the interior. No forced air is involved in heating the house, which keeps the room moist and benefits allergy suffers!
Air conditioning can be operated via a remote control, and there are two independent A/C units, one located in the bedroom and one in the living room.
The walls are decorated with wonderful artwork, such as, a Batik (wax resist dyeing technique in fabric) from an indigenous brazilian tribe, and Shigeo Fukuda posters (originally signed by himself).
Built in 1999 (pretty new by BA standards!), the building has a terrace overlooking the national polo field, a swimming pool, full charcoal grill and solarium.
I recently added a Teak wood dinning set to the balcony so as to be able to enjoy the outdoors during spring/summer.
Lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the whole beautiful Cañitas pedestrian way (Calle Baez) are within a block.
Couldn't do justice to the neighborhood writing a few lines here, you might as well just look it up online.
Check out the map screen shot attached to the listing, for information about public transportation, shopping, etc.
Subway line "D" is about 6-7 blocks away; Bus line "60" (which sorta cuts across BA) and many others stop 4 blocks away.
The Palermo Hollywood / Palermo Soho area (which you will likely visit at some point during your stay in BA) is 1 mile away... about a 15' to 20' minute walk.

There is an Airbed (and a compressor) in case you need to accommodate a second or third guest.
I provide both a US and Argentine based phone number where you can reach me during your stay and if you have any questions or comments.
Top 5 things I love about my pad (I think you'll love them too) and what makes it unique:
1. You can people watch Cañitas' night life over the balcony at candlelight, with a glass of Malbec.
2. You're one block away from all the Cañitas action (super-close yet quiet because the apartment is on a lateral street).
3. You'll be living in a minimalists, spacious and luminous place.(you will never feel crammed as in some other 1BR flats).
4. During summertime, you'll enjoy the solarium and grill.
5. You'll fall in love with Cañitas' small neighborhood feel.
UPDATE: I've recently added a new 32'' plasma TV (disregard the TV in the photo - just replaced it), a surround sound system, an iPod dock, new cookware, new carpet, new dishes, new wine glasses, and more.
Non smoking apartment.
Turn lights, air conditioning and heat off when leaving the apartment. The apartment can be quickly brought to any desired room temperature in just a matter of minutes!)
Pulling out new towels only if absolutely necessary. Chemicals and other pollutants from washer/dryers are dumped to the Rio de La Plata. Using linens wisely saves washing cycles (less energy consumption, less pollution).
BE COURTEOUS WITH THE NEIGHBORS.
