My place is for those that aren't just looking for a bed but also for a place that has its own personality, design and stories, an alternative to those expensive, monotonous places they call hotels, places that leave no impression or memory behind.
The studio is small but perfectly arranged to meet the needs of two people. The main room is an all purpose space adapted to have all the amenities of a spacious apartment but only on a smaller scale.
It's thus separated between a sleeping area which has drop-down curtains and a living area equipped with a desk, a table and a bean bag chair.
The whole atmosphere revolves around an oriental theme which comes to life with the help of the many lights and lamps. There is also a wi-fi system which will help set the mood.
The main room is also accompanied by a small but well-equipped kitchen and a small bathroom.
The guests will have access to everything in the room, and are encouraged to feel at home.
- cable internet/wi-fi
- cable tv
- surround system which can be connected to a smartphone
- hot water & heating 24/7
- kitchen which can be made use of
- refrigerator & microwave oven
... and I can provide extra things on demand.
As long as the guests are well-mannered and respect the things around them, then I think we will get along quite nicely.
If you would like to be close to what is happening in Bucharest then this little flat has it all.
It is located in a quiet neighbourhood full of that beautiful history that was once the pride of Bucharest.
The flat is 5 min. walk from Piața Romană (Roman Square) and you are close to:
- The Romanian Atheneum (10 min. walk)
- The Revolution Square (15 min. walk)
- Victory avenue & Lascar Catargiu avenue (two of the most iconic Bucharest boulevards in walking distance)
- University Square (20 min.)
- The Romanian Parliament (Ceaușescu's megalomaniac project) (30 min. walk)
- The Old Town (the place for bars and nightlife) (25 min. walk)
The Piața Romană metro station is just 5 min. away and close to it there are a number of buses which allow you to go almost anywhere in Bucharest.
Also the line 783 runs from here to the airport.
We had a great time in Vlad's cosy small Studio! We had everything we needed and it was perfect for two people as well. It is very central and located in a very nice area (with lots of nice cultural places: we recommend "Carturesti", "Fadel-bakery", "Dianei 4" and also a fine romanian Resterauant some houses away in the same street)
Vlad was lovely and eager to help!
We would love to stay there again!
I had the pleasure of staying at Vlad's place for a few days recently. It was absolutely perfect. It had everything I needed (and more!) and is really well located in the heart of Bucharest.
Vlad and Elena are just awesome people! Super nice - they do lots of travelling themselves, so have a lot of interesting stories! He was very kind to deal with my flight timings etc. So helpful with maps and advice about where to go/restaurant recommendations. Fantastic hosts with lots of knowledge about the history and geography of Bucharest - they should be tour guides! :)
I travelled alone, but i'm sure Vlad's place would be great for 2 people too. I literally cannot recommend this place enough!
Had a great time in Bucharest - made even better by finding Vlad and his place.
Thanks for a great stay guys. See you soon!
I had 6 nights stay at Vlad apartment.Nicely dekorated, great wired Internet (plus WiFi from somewhere in the building).I had everything I need for the stay.I never met Vlad cause he was working but his girlfriend Elena is very nice person and she answered all the questions and was really helpful.Apartment is located 2 metro stations away from Piata Uniri...Piata Romana where apartment is located is a cool area.
