The flat was spacious and extremely clean. All the facilities worked well and it was easy to just relax and feel at home. Although it is located on the main road, there is hardly any traffic and it was very quiet. You can see the mountains from the back of the house. It is about 20 minutes to drive to Benasque. We did not stay long enough to explore the local area but this may also be worth doing. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who gave us the keys and showed us the flat. She only spoke Spanish but was very helpful. A good place to stay.
Lovely spacious apartment. Fantastic walks to be had in the immediate area. However, the apartment is on a very busy main road and is rather noisy in the kitchen and (smaller) bedroom at the front of the house. The rooms at the back were very quiet and had great views. No shops in the village - need to drive 10mins to Castejón de Sos. Good facilities incl washing machine. Very patchy wifi.
Although Irene was not available to meet us when we arrived, she communicated closely with us to work out how best to connect with Veronica who was waiting at the apartment with a warm welcome when we arrived. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a lovely setting. We enjoyed our stay very much. There is a small shop in Seira (but it is rarely open) and a bar; necessities are not far down the road at Castajon de Sos. It might be worth noting that the microwave didn't work (but the stove and conventional oven worked fine). We had a little glitch with the surface of a pan ending up in our dinner (which we had to throw away) which was frustrating. However, we would stay at Irene's apartment again if we had the opportunity and would recommend it to others.
We stayed 10 days in Irene's very nice and clean apartment with a beautiful view on the mountains. This apartment can also be used if you have a baby. It is very well located if you like hiking in the surrounding valleys, since the hiking trail GR 15 crosses the village of Seira. Hiking trails are very well marked and you can easily walk on them, even with a baby carrier. The little village is at the entrance of an impressive canyon that one has to pass by car in order to get to Benasque.
