Kirstin & I visited Cottonwood and Clarkdale. We had a brief check in, orientation, and greeting at Ken & Cynthia's place before heading out on our touring. Ken & Cynthia were very hospitable, providing a nice room, bathroom, and a lit driveway for our nighttime arrival after our day trips. They also recommended some places that we rode our bikes around. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and conversation with Ken and Cynthia, the following morning. It was great getting to know them. They have a beautiful house with beautiful views.
Our staying with Ken and Cindy was wonderful. We spent just 1 night, but I could know they are great host. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. And the room was cozy and clean. Especially, I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was just perfect for us. I highly recommend this place.
Ken and Cynthia are some of the most generous and wonderful people we have ever met. They went out of their way to make our stay in their beautiful home a memorable one. We were so well cared for and had such fun. They have a wealth of knowledge about all of the wonderful sights in USA.They prepared sumptuous breakfasts and sent us on our day trips with a packed lunch. We would have dearly loved to stay longer. It was a privilege to have spent time with you. We hope to catch up one day.
Marc & I LOVE our stay with Ken & Cindy! They made us feel like we're visiting our parents. Every morning after breakfast, they would pack us a cooler with water/snacks/bread. We enjoyed our conversations very much as well as spending time sipping wine in the patio for hours. We watched movies & laughed together...truly a lovely experience. Hate to have to leave! This experience has made our first Sedona trip very memorable. Thanks Ken & Cindy for making us feel home. We will see you next time we visit Sedona again (we plan on going every year) and we plan on keeping in touch with you. Love ya both!! Xoxoxo. Marc & Ling
Ken and Cynthia were extremely generous hosts and my partner and I had a great time staying for a few nights in a spacious room in their wonderful home. Ken and Cynthia were very accommodating whether it was our late arrival or my partner's gluten sensitivities. We not only had a wonderful base from which to explore Sedona (only a 20 minute drive away) but also had such loving and kind hosts that would send us out with a cooler full of snacks and water. We also enjoyed wonderful conversations with Ken & Cindy throughout our stay and departed their place feeling like we had made some new friends.
Ken and Cynthia are exceptional hosts. I have traveled a few times now and have realized that a host like this is one of a kind!! I am fortunate to have met them.
Awesome house, awesome porch views, awesome hospitality!
TIP: Don't speed in Jerome if you venture up the hill for dinner or tourism. While it's a cool town, there are speed traps galore! Thanks again Ken and Cynthia! Hope to see you and Sedona again!
We could not have asked for more from two hosts. The house is located in a peaceful location just down the road from Jerome.
Our stay with Ken & Cynthia was great! They were so welcoming and warm it felt like we were staying with family. Their home is very comfortable and so close to Jerome we went up there several times over two days. They were also accommodating for our food intolerances!
We stayed for two nights while exploring the Red Rock area. Ken and Cynthia were extremely warm and welcoming as well as accommodating! I have food allergies and cannot eat wheat products. Cynthia contacted a friend for gluten/wheat free recipes and made some delicious cookies and banana bread which were out of this world! Their home was comfortable and inviting. Our room and private bath were wonderful. We would stay with them again and recommend them to anyone visiting the area. They were helpful and made several great restaurant suggestions. this was our first experience with airbnb and it has made us believers!!
Don't miss this Airbnb! Ken and Cynthia are gracious hosts who make you feel at home--sharing their lives, home, and beautiful surroundings. Just up the mountain is the artsy town of Jerome and in the distance the red cliffs around Sedona.
