'Like a private retreat on the water'.

This is a Private Suite plus use of shared areas, pool, etc, IN A SHARED HOME, close to downtown Gulfport and convenient to all of Tampa Bay. Room 1 has a queen bed. Room 2, a double. The comfy bath features a ceiling fan and massage jets. The suite is all yours...not shared with other guests.

The space
Privacy & Comfort. Your personal accommodations at Casa de Las Brisas (named for the breeze) are quiet, relaxed and casual, comprising one side of our waterfront home. You have unlimited use of the shared areas, day or night. You will feel private and secluded here, yet all of Tampa Bay is an easy drive...beaches, downtown etc.

Bedroom #1 opens out towards the water, and features a Queen bed and TV.

Bedroom #2 has a Double bed plus desk plus mini-fridge.

Both have WiFi and lots of closet space. They share the private bath…a big tub with jets for a total bubble experience. The suite is separated from the rest of the house by a hallway and door.

We expect you to use the kitchen, dining room, living room, patio and pool just as if you were at home.

YOU CAN RELAX. This is your place to, swim, read, go boating or just chill out. And it is your base for exploring the many attractions of the Tampa Bay area.

BOATERS take note of the dock, anchorage and nearby mooring field, plus a marina with boat ramp 1/4 mile away.

PETS. We have a cat!...A Russian Blue named Sasha. It is easy to keep him out of your area but anyone with severe allergies should consider this.

We love animals but have had issues so probably have to decline. If you have special circumstances, we can discuss them.

HAVE TO WORK? Do so in comfort and privacy. Have more effective meetings...order food and talk over lunch by the pool. WiFi, printer and fax available. Convenient location to all of the Bay Area.

The City of Gulfport is a little town adjacent to the City of St Petersburg. It is a bit artsy but not pretentious.

The atmosphere is casual, inviting and diverse. Guests have commented on how friendly everyone is..."are all Americans this friendly?" (not quite). It’s a special little piece of Florida. An Artwalk event takes place twice a month and a Fresh Market in the street on Tuesdays. We are fortunate to have restaurants that draw locals from all over Tampa Bay.

A little about us...outside of business we love sailing, aviation, entrepreneurship, family & friends and much more. Like most people, we hope to leave our small corner of the world a little better than we found it.

Meanwhile, Jonathan is a licensed realtor in the Gulfport/St. Pete market area. and we publish GRAND, a magazine for grandparents (and for living an ageless life).

During your stay

We are normally here to welcome you and show you around. Most days we are found working in our private quarters on the other side of the house and occasionally we’re off traveling ourselves. In this case, a trusted friend will show you around and we are ALWAYS available by phone.

In any event, you have privacy….your own space. If we can help you enjoy your visit, we will happily do so, but if you just want peace and privacy, you'll have it.

You are not 'invading our space'!! We like having guests here or would not do it. If you are new to an airbnb-style home like this, I assure you that you will be comfortable. Please read comments from other guests…
