The space

I like living in Paris in spite of its hectic and often stressful rhythm. But it's such a pleasure when I go back home, right in the heart of the capital, to find a haven of peace, clear and spacious. A place of ressourcement.

Right after the hall, you'll cross a small courtyard. On the right, artist workshops, and on the left, repairers of coffee machines.
The loft is on the first floor, 1022 sq ft, consisting of a big room of 699 sq ft (including a lounge with a comfy sofa bed, a desk, an equipped American kitchen), and bedroom of 193 sq ft with a queen size bed, a bathroom, toilets.
The freshly renovated apartment is in perfect condition.

· Equipment of the main room:
comfortable sofa bed in front of the flat screen television, WiFi, a desk, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge-freezer, hobs and electric oven, Coffee machine Krups Dolce Vita, toaster, dishes, electric lemon squeezers, kitchen utensils, kitchen linen, 2 electric heaters

Equipment of the bed room: comfortable queen size bed, supplied sheets, cosy comforter, cupboards, 1 electric heater.

· Equipment of the bathroom: bathtub and shower in the bathtub, the radiator-towel dryer, the hairdryer, the toilets.

Guest access

Paris is a gate open to the world…

As such, Paris airports are very well connected to the heart of the city where my flat is.

You will find here all the information you need to get into downtown Paris and to reach my apartment from the 2 airports and also to leave the city at the end of your stay.

The closest station from my place, "Emile Zola” is on the line 10 of the subway.

Once you’re out of the station (Rue Emile Zola exit), you’ll easily reach my building, a minute from there. You just take rue Fondary, and the building is at n°39.

Right after the hall, you'll cross a small courtyard. On the right, artist workshops, and on the left, repairers of coffee machines.
Climb the few steps at the end of the courtyard on the left, and you'll reach the loft on the right hand side.

Interaction with guests

I shall welcome you personally, present you the apartment and the district.
A Guest's book will wait for you in the loft to guide you towards my useful addresses and favorite tips in the district and beyond.

My neighbors are nice and the building custodian is a very sympathetic and friendly lady, very present to others. She will be there if you need it.
You can of course contact me at any time on my mobile if it was necessary.
Do not hesitate to ask me questions. I stay at your disposal.

The neighborhood

I live on the Left bank. The Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, the Seine and its Swans Island, the hotel of the invalides, the quite new Beaugrenelle shopping mall are at 10-15 mn walking distance . The Exhibition center of the porte of Versailles is in approximately 10mn by bus.
Saint-Germain des Prés, Montparnasse, the Garden of the Luxembourg, the Musée d'Orsay, the Louvre, Concorde, the Opera, the Champs-Elysées, the department stores are very easily accessible, just a few subway stations away.

I like my district because I feel as in a village there: schools, City hall, the post office, bars, restaurants, opportunities transport, small public gardens, the closeness of Champ de Mars and of The Seine, etc.
Multiple storekeepers at a few steps from the loft
famous brands:
- Monoprix Department store, opened till 10:00 pm
- City Carrefour, till 8:00 pm
Small shopkeepers: scoops, florists, stores of clothes and shoes, shoemaker, steam-pressing, pharmacies.

But also " les artisants de bouche (mouth craftsmen) ".
My favorites:

**** A cheese maker " one of the Best French craftsman ". Each of its cheeses, for the greater part craft(home-made), is an invitation to a journey. I like discovering cheeses of season.

**** A wine cellarman who proposes excellent local wines without sulphites, he can spend hours to tell you about a wine while you taste it (have a rough time, savour, have a rough time)!

**** One of the best butcher's shops of Paris. I eat few meat but when I do, it can only come from there! The quality is exceptional, the humor and the smile are present in the welcome.

**** Bakeries which make some bread, croissants, senile which you will not forget for sure...

**** The market of Grenelle, under the skytrain, on Wednesday or Sundays mornings. I buy there my vegetables at a local producer of the Ile-de-France who integrated farm management. Everything is seasonal, fresh, collected the day before, I almost have the impression to have a garden!

Banks:
3 international banks at the street corner with counters(ticket offices) to withdraw money(to take money out).
