The Dome Home is a fun and funky new experience for sure! We live here on the quaint farm where we grow much of our own food, run our private educational retreats, Indigenous instrument building workshops, grow hemp, & other businesses. So, needless to say, it is a constant flow of new people and reoccurring guests. We have had people from around 20 different countries stay here and have hosted everything from family vacations to small private getaways. It's a judgement free atmosphere and we have made some awesome friends through Airbnb who have come back to hang. Love that!

This listing is for the primitive cabin outside of the dome that we rent. It is an upcycled Boy Scouts cabin with electric, a fan, heat, outlets, a mini fridge, and a kiln. We originally created it for art workshops and for artists to come get away in nature and solitude to write, paint, create pottery, do yoga, etc. Now it holds folks of all kinds! Hikers, families, groups, we enjoy them all. It has a queen bed as well as a double bed.

The Dome Home itself is 3400 sq ft, 2 levels, on 3.4 acres and that is where we live and rent out more spaces. The guest bathroom is upstairs to the left and you are free to come in and out as you please for bathroom and shower needs.

We are fine with whatever group size you would like to bring, but via experience, we have learned a few things that will make it easier for both sides. :) Herego!

1.) GUESTS: Please make sure all your guests are registered, this is important for insurance reasons and we appreciate you doing so. No need to put their full names, just exactly how many you plan to bring, thanks!

2.) BEDS: Please work it out amongst yourselves on the logistics of "who's sleeping where?" Whether you rent the cabin or the guest room, we provide two beds, each that should fit 2 people. Outside of that, we leave it up to your group to decide if you need more to sleep on. Some folks bring an air mattress if it’s a group. Whatever works :)

3.) PETS: We are fine if you bring your pets, we have lots of doggies here sometimes! But be it known that we have 4 dogs and 2 cats of our own, so it might take a little time to adjust. Ours are harmless, but also farm dogs, so you'll most likely get barked at by our Rat Pack when you come. We also have 7 rabbits, chickens, ducks and a goat so if your dog isn't used to it, you might want to start with a leash. *If you're allergic to animals- this is a pet friendly place and probably not your best bet... because they are all over the property :)

4.) KITCHEN: This is constantly in use by ourselves and guests. Cooking, tincture making, it's a revolving door that never ends -but- continuously gets cleaned. That being said- you will probably never see it perfect, but make yourself at home and squeeze on in anytime! We are so used to it, you won't even phase us. :) If you'd like to bring groceries, there is a mini fridge in the cabin as well.
***Thanks for staying with us!***

We are almost always working on something, either home improvements or building outdoors, so we will be around if you need us but happy to let you do your thing! 3.4 acres to roam around on and trails to the creek. Pet a bunny, read a book, bang on a drum, we have lots of things you are welcome to play with!

There are lots of natural trails behind the house where you can even go explore on your own & many gorgeous places to see locally here for hiking, rafting etc!

This is one of the nations largest Monolithic Dome communities built by the renown conscious inventor, Peter Kelly, who you can still go visit his dome here run by his daughter to try out his "Betar," machine which is a Sound Bath that's hard to beat! It is an amazing conscious community surrounded by the most glorious hiking spots and waterfalls!
Whether youd like to camp outside, couch surf inside, or rent the entire upstairs for your group- we are cool with it!
We are extremely laid back folks and happy to accommodate :)
