A sweet log cabin circled by tall pines nestled at the base of the Mogollon Rim in Pine, AZ. This 1100 sq ft. cabin was built in 1966 and has been renovated and tastefully decorated for your next family adventure or special vacation. Sit on the porch swing and watch the elk and deer, hike on a nearby trail, go antique shopping, enjoy great food, and play games with your guests...making memories is what this cabin is set up for.

The space
This cozy cabin is located approx. 90 minutes drive north of Phoenix in Pine, AZ. Elevation is approx. 5,400 feet. Pine has all you might need in a vacation getaway filled with beautiful night views, temperate weather, frequent wildlife, and tall pine trees. Equipped with free Wi-fi, smart tv and cable, you can do as much or as little “work” as you want to on your vacation. Our favorite parts of the cabin? The original wood flooring, diamond-paned windows and the rusted tin accent walls... the log cabin feel with the comforts of home.

The front porch is equipped with a motion sensor light so your entrance is well-lit and safe when you arrive to the cabin.

The downstairs bathroom has a bath tub (no shower), sink/toilet, wall heater, and stocked with towels. The bedroom at the end of the hall has a door with a lock, queen bed, two small night stand tables, wall dresser drawers, and a closet.

The upstairs is an open loft design with three different sleeping areas and a bathroom with shower. Please note: sleeping areas with queen beds are divided by the stair walls and room with twin beds has a curtain.. there are no doors on the upstairs bedrooms.

The upstairs bathroom is equipped with wall heater, towels, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, curling iron and a great view of the firepit and wildlife traffic.

Pine has some incredibly yummy and fun restaurants to check out during your stay. If you are a “foodie” or would rather cook for your crew yourself, the kitchen is fully stocked and set up for cooking for a group. The kitchen has electric oven/stove, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, pots/pans, wafflemaker (the kids favorite), toaster, blender, crockpot, coffee pot, and utensils and knives. We have a full set of baking implements including: hand held mixer, mixing bowls, cookie sheet, cake, muffin & pie pans. Coffee, tea, most condiments and full spice rack provided. The downstairs dining area has table and seating for 6, additional bench seating for 2. There is additional outdoor dining space on the covered patio.
Outside you can relax on the Amish porch swing (it even has drink holders!) and watch the elk and deer visiting the feeding spot (a.k.a. Cool Pines Café). There is a motion sensor light set up near the feeding spot so you will be able to see if you have night visitors. There is a fire pit with cut wood available if there are not fire restrictions in the area. Grab a roasting stick and enjoy smores with your guests. There is an electric bbq grill and patio seating on the back porch.

Guest access
You will have full access to the entire cabin. Great location close to town store, restaurants, and antique shopping.

We fell in love with the cozy cabin in 2017 and wanted to not only make it in to a place where our fun, blended family of 7 could enjoy their time together, but also create a getaway for others to enjoy the Payson/Pine area. We have lived in the area for over 20 years and love the laid-back, welcoming, outdoorsy nature of Pine. We love to get to know our renters and hope we can help make it a relaxing and comfortable trip.
