Lovely double en suite room perfectly situated for Southampton city centre. Use of a lounge, kitchen and laundry room so ideal for the independent traveller who is looking for more flexibility in their stay. Free Wi-Fi and parking come as standard. Think "bed and breakfast" but without the breakfast. This is not a room in somebody's home.
This is a lovely large double en suite room in a beautiful Victorian 6 bedroom house. Guests have use of the communal facilities which include a lounge, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, laundry room and garden. There is also free parking and Wi-Fi throughout.
Guests will have a fully furnished double en suite room with modern bathroom. The rooms are tastefully decorated with all linen supplied including towels. The room includes a TV with digital channels, tea and coffee making facilities, tissues, alarm clock, toiletries and of course, central heating.
You also have access to a comfortable (shared) guest lounge with TV and DVD player in addition to a fully equipped kitchen with your own space to store food. The laundry room has a washing machine, irons and clothes airers. There is also a large garden to hang washing or relax in.
Parking is free and off street.
I reside across the road from the property so am always on hand if you need anything. There are other guests residing at the property though so plenty of opportunity for interaction around the communal areas if you so wish.
It's proximity to the city centre. The train station is a 6-8 minute walk away and serves all major train stations in the UK (London is 1 hour 17 minutes away). The Mayflower theatre is a 10 minute walk away.
There is plenty of public transport Buses trains etc.
The No 3 bus goes up to the hospital and into the town centre. Taxis are also reasonable and reliable.
Your bedroom is private but you have access (with other guests) to a lounge, large kitchen/diner, laundry room and garden.

To treat the house and the other guests with respect. The house is strictly non-smoking. No children under 12 years old.
