About this listing
Renovated 1 Bed / 1 Bath private apartment is perfect for your Lake Tahoe get-away! Located near the casinos and the lake, with an oven/stove, refrigerator & hot tub, you will have all the comforts of home as you enjoy your Tahoe adventure!
The hot tub/spa is located on the far side of the property so that you can gaze at the stars and enjoy the serenity of nature in privacy.
This space is pretty much a small house, though I call it my apartment since it's a mother-in-law unit located above the garage of my home. It's not an apartment, though, in the sense that there aren't any other units and there are no shared walls with the rest of the house. You will have complete privacy in this space as well as all the amenities of home: queen size bed, kitchen with refrigerator and oven/stove, living room, bathroom, and a hot tub/spa out back.
This is a great spot to entertain guests and party, so have at it. Just be respectful of the space and the neighbors. You are welcome to have as many quests over as you like provided that you be respectful of the neighbors and try to keep the noise down after 10 PM. The space is 420 friendly, but please do not smoke cigarettes inside. Unfortunately, due to issues we've had in the past, no pets are allowed inside the unit. There is plenty of parking for you and your guests as well. Have a blast, y'all!
Guests will have access to the entire apartment (bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, living room) and the spa out back, as well as all the little things that will make your stay feel like home away from home:
- Hot Tub / Spa
- TV with access to:
* Standard Cable Channels
* HBO Go
* DVD Player (Xbox)
- Keurig Coffee Machine and Coffee
(Sugar & Creamer included as well)
- Refrigerator Space
- Ironing Board & Iron
- Board Games
- Plenty of Towels
- Pots, Pans, Dishes, Glasses, Etc.
- Small Kitchen Appliances:

Interaction with Guests
I will meet you on the day of your arrival and show you the space, give you the key, and then you will likely not see me again for the duration of your stay, unless you should need something, in which case of course I will be more than happy to help you any way that I can.
The house is located in a quite neighborhood in the mid-town section of South Lake Tahoe. This neighborhood is located within walking distance to several restaurants and bars, and within a 5-10 minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort and the Casinos downtown.
There is a bus stop within a 2-minute walk from the house that can shuttle you to Heavenly or anywhere around town you'd like to go. Taxi cabs are also in plentiful supply.
Please be respectful of the space and try to tidy-up a bit before you leave.
Bryant was an excellent host, we had an awesome stay and his place was perfect. It had everything you'll want, like you're just at home! Perfect location to South Tahoe =)
Bryant was a great host! His place was very homey and clean, and very organized. Has everything you need! He greeted my boyfriend and I the first day we arrived, and was accomodating to what we needed. One night, my boyfriend and I was relaxing on the patio, and Bryant was very nice to invite us to join him and his friends for a bbq they were having. It was great talking and getting to know Bryant and his friends! I would definately stay here again!
Bryant's place in South Lake Tahoe was perfect for us! The apartment is the perfect size for two. The kitchen is beautiful with granite countertops and nice appliances and has everything you need (knives/cookware/utensils/toaster oven/blender) for preparing meals. The hot tub is a great bonus on the cool Tahoe evenings.
The location is great and very accessible to hiking at Mt. Tallac, bike paths, Emerald Bay and a nice farmers market on Tuesdays. It's also near the casinos and heavenly ski resort. There are beaches nearby, but the nicer ones are about an hour away (sand harbor is great!)--but the drive is beautiful and scenic.
The one and only downside to the location is that it can be a bit noisy at night with neighbors dogs barking late at night and loud parties nearby, but everything else about the place made it completely worthwhile and I would gladly stay here again! We had a fantastic time in Tahoe!
Bryant was a great host. He is super friendly, hospitable, and very willing/available to help with anything you may need.
Bryant is a solid guy and his unit is dialed in! Everything was very comfortable! He wasn't in town when we stayed there, but he did a great job being in communication with me. My wife and i were celebrating our anniversary and we appreciated having a place to ourselves - no disruptions or distractions. This unit is conveniently located just outside of downtown; for us, that meant close enough to enjoy all the attractions we wanted, but far enough away that we can get some privacy, too. Thanks Bryant!
Bryant's place worked very well for us. Good location, price, everything worked. We spent most of the time out hiking. Sometimes movies got interrupted because of slow wifi, so bring your own DVD player if that's important to you. Bryant was in Europe but was very attentive and his roommate helped out one time when needed.
About the Host, Bryant
Hi, I'm Bryant. Just another 20-something, living the good life here in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. I was born in Austin, Texas, but I've been living in California for the past 12 years. My job requires that I travel during the summer months, but work slows down for me during the winter, which is great for me because I love to hit the slopes as much as possible. Tahoe is amazing and I'm so glad I have the opportunity to live here: hundreds of trails to run/hike, plenty of entertainment and night life at the casinos, beach volleyball in the summer months, and of course thousands of ski-able acres in the winter. I feel like I'm on permanent vacation. I was introduced to Airbnb during a recent trip to New Orleans, and based on that amazing experience I've concluded there's no better way to travel! I'm looking forward to taking advantage of this excellent service more in the future and meeting tons of new people and visiting lots of new places. See you out there!
