Joyce's place was homey and welcoming. We loved the way she had it decorated. It could have been our place, it felt so comfortable to us. And the bed was perfect.! She had a friend taking care of things while we were there and we enjoyed her immensely. We were of like mind and that made for easy conversation. We would definitely stay here again. Joyce, your home was easy to come back to after full days. Thanks.
Really enjoyed my short (2 night) stay at Joyce's airbnb. Charming house, very comfortable and clean room. I was quite scarce during my stay (up early and back late) and wished I'd had more time to interact with Joyce. I'd recommend this listing.
The reservation was canceled 17 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Joyce is a wonderful host and had a very lovely, comfortable home. We had a private room and bath and were welcome to use the sunroom and dining room as our own. We thoroughly enjoyed it several times and decided to extend our stay an extra day. Joyce made breakfast for us each morning, including a pot of great coffee. We enjoyed sharing our life and travel experiences and hope to return.
Joyce was a very warm and welcoming host. She was very attentive and accomodating to all our needs and comfort. Joyce is an interesting person and offered a lot of good advice on how to make the most of our time in Santa Fe. Her home is well situated, only minutes from all the main attractions. Her home is comfortable and the outdoor space is equally so. We felt at home in Joyce's place.
The listing was true to form. The house is very characteristic of Santa Fe culture. The rooms are absolutely charming with touches of culture and art that Joyce has collected from around the world. And the house is only a couple miles from the city plaza, where in my opinion, is where you want to be. Also, the river walk is a nice reprieve after late nights downtown.
Joyce really ensures you get a true Airbnb experience. She really is the perfect host, allowing us to just enough privacy, and then treating us to breakfast and genuinely fulfilling conversation in the morning.
We had such a great experience and plan to be back soon!
This was my first airbnb experience and I'm sure it won't be my last. Nice home, not fancy, but very pleasant and comfortable. It was easy to find and convenient to downtown, though I wouldn't consider it walking distance to the plaza unless you want a really long walk. Joyce was very nice and made me feel at home. The first night was a bit warm with just the ceiling fan, but it was an unusually hot night. The rest of the time it was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place.
I LEFT THE U.S. WHEN I WAS 21 AND I HAVE BEEN LIVING AND TRAVELING OUTSIDE THE U.S. EVER SINCE. NOW I AM SETTLED IN SANTA FE, THE ONLY PLACE IN THE U.S. I BELIEVE I COULD LIVE, AND I WANT TO SHARE MY SPACE WITH OTHER TRAVELERS.
