My wife and I had an amazing stay. It's a beautiful property and Liz and Bruce are extremely hospitable. They even left us breakfast. We'll definitely be back.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Cozy wood fire inside, coal BBQ outside, well equipped for cooking. The ranch itself definitely lives up to its name, cows everywhere! If you're looking to get away for a quiet weekend, this is the ideal place.
A very cool, rustic, isolated cattle ranch experience about 15 minutes drive from Point Reyes, complete with hundreds of cows and picturesque views at every vantage point. We wished the kitchen would have had more basic cooking supplies, but we loved the wood burning fire and had a great time!
What a sacred place. Liz and Bruce are gracious hosts who open up their special, one of kind bunk house property. It was such a treat to spend time in a place with old wooden planks, birds chirping, wood stove burning and green coastal mountains surrounding it all. Could not have been a more peaceful and pleasurable experience.
Beautiful spot, wonderful bunkhouse. We had a girls weekend away, cooked dinner, played board games, and hiked up a high hill past the cows. Beds were big and comfy. We hope to make it a yearly tradition! :)
It was wonderful staying at Liz & Bruce's place! It was very cozy and spacious for 4 of us. Would definitely visit agin for our next trip to Point Reyes!
We had a wonderful stay at The Bunk House! Liz and Bruce were very welcoming and friendly, and the place was both comfortable and beautiful. The handmade soap and breakfast pastries were a nice touch, and our favorite was the fireplace. It was going when we arrived, and there was plenty of wood to keep it going strong throughout our stay. The area is stunning, and it's worth taking a walk up the hill on their property for great views! I only wish we could have stayed longer.
Cow Track Ranch is family owned & operated since 1986. We raise Black Angus Beef + Texas Longhorn cattle on our 500 acres in addition to sustainable grown seasonal produce. Our property is also a preferred venue for barn weddings + special events.
Bruce has been a large animal veterinarian for over 50 years and Liz also has several businesses of her own including handmade soaps , cooking seasoning products, children's fashion, home decor & more. Our sustainably grown produce is used for our soaps which are provided for our guests. During your stay, feel free to purchase a few of these gift items from Liz's in-home studio.
The Bunk House has served as a B&B for the last few years & our guests leave feeling refreshed & relaxed. Feel free to explore the views that the ranch has to offer. We suggest a picnic by the pond or a hike to the top of the ranch.
