Even though our stay was brief, we had a wonderful time at the bunk house. Liz was extremely accommodating with our late check in time, providing detailed directions for our night time arrival. Beautiful spot, tucked away from it all. Just what we had hoped for. Wonderful hosts and magical place to spend the night after adventuring in Point Reyes Seashore all day.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a wonderful stay at the Bunk House. It's super charming, just as the pictures show. We were really pleasantly surprised by the ranch around the house. It's enormous and really beautiful! We did a nice hike up the hill and had a 360 view of the entire area all while staying on the property. Farm equipment, cows, etc. all around.
Bruce was there to meet us when we arrived and give a tour. He was flexible on the timing, as we changed plans once or twice. Nice touches including soap and pie from a local bakery waiting for us. The fireplace was well stocked with wood and easy to light.
One note for larger groups: There is not a ton of privacy in the sleeping areas (one bedroom is a loft, the other has thin walls and doors), but the place has nice large king beds and can fit 2 couples and a 5th (or 6th) comfortably.
What a beautiful weekend! We loved the area, and Liz & Bruce gave great recommendations on activities close by. We will definitely be back to the bunk house
We loved our stay at The Bunkhouse. Its rustic but comfortable and the location is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed sunrises, sunsets and wonderful walks in the countryside. Added to that, being slightly out of Sonoma town made for delightful trips to Tomales bay and the surrounding countryside. Given the opportunity, we will definitely be back! Thank you.
Unique setting on a working ranch. Liz and Bruce made sure that we had everything we needed.
The Bunk House was rustic and cozy - a great getaway in West Marin! Liz and Bruce were lovely hosts and the property is truly wonderful. We hope to return in the future!
Cow Track Ranch is family owned & operated since 1986. We raise Black Angus Beef + Texas Longhorn cattle on our 500 acres in addition to sustainable grown seasonal produce. Our property is also a preferred venue for barn weddings + special events.
Bruce has been a large animal veterinarian for over 50 years and Liz also has several businesses of her own including handmade soaps , cooking seasoning products, children's fashion, home decor & more. Our sustainably grown produce is used for our soaps which are provided for our guests. During your stay, feel free to purchase a few of these gift items from Liz's in-home studio.
The Bunk House has served as a B&B for the last few years & our guests leave feeling refreshed & relaxed. Feel free to explore the views that the ranch has to offer. We suggest a picnic by the pond or a hike to the top of the ranch.
