Interaction with Guests
Looking forward to pleasant conversations and experience on travel and other things that comes to your mind.
My job includes some traveling. For that reason, I cannot guarantee that I will always be present in the apartment. In those cases however, you'll have the whole apartment by yourself. My dear mother would in these circumstances make sure you get the keys and necessary information about your stay. If there are any questions feel free to send me an email.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions

Other Things to Note
For those who expect a little extra
The apartment is returned back in the condition you got it:-)
Stig was a wonderful host! He made us feel very welcome. The flat is gorgeous, and one of the very best airbnb-flats I have ever stayed in. Its huge, and beautifully decorated, with tow lounge areas and a separate dining area. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a fire place, and the beds are fantastically comfortable. I can only hope it will be available next time we visit Trondheim too. Anyone staying here will be very lucky.
I can't say enough good things either about Stig or his wonderful flat which is in a prime Trondheim location. Stig is extremely welcoming, friendly and quick to help out in any way he can. The flat is spacious yet cozy, and decorated to a high and modern standard. Within walking distance you'll find everything you need from groceries and cafes to bars, restaurants and shopping. Buses which take you around the city and to/from the airport are nearby, as is the central train station. I can't imagine a better Airbnb experience! Thanks Stig!
A great Host for an unforgettable stay in Trondheim. The apartment covers more than fully our expectations and Stig is very helpful.
A special thanks for the KnekkeBrød Recipe ;o)
All together a Fanta"Stig" stay :)

Un Excellent lieu avec un hôte disponible. L'appartement était à la hauteur de nos attentes.
Un grand Merci à Stig pour sa fameuse recette des crackers norvégiens : KnekkeBrød ;)
Un séjour Fanta"Stig"!

Stig's apartment was fantastic. We rented the entire apartment for four people and found it to be very comfortable, light, airy and spacious. The furnishings and interior design were stylish and at the same time inviting. The apartment was clean, the kitchen easy to use to cook meals and the living areas enabled us to relax and have naps.
We received a warm welcome from Stig who then explained the workings of the apartment, the attractions of Trondheim, where to eat and shop. This is Stig's home and we felt honoured to be able to stay there - to be trusted so much. This is a true airbnb experience. My communications with Stig have been excellent in that he replied to all my queries and he checked how we were going during our stay.
The location of the apartment is excellent. There are supermarkets nearby as well as a very good bakery. That, and being close to Baklandet - an old quarter of Trondheim which has cafes and restaurants on the river - make the location ideal. The neighbours are friendly. The area is quiet and peaceful.
This is an excellent stay in Trondheim and hopefully we can stay again.
Thank you Stig.
It was a very pleasant stay and I loved it! The host, Stig, was very friendly and welcoming. If there was anything he was happy to answer. The apartment was in an excellent condition and was a refreshing mix of a modern style and its original 1900's look. There was plenty of space and I felt really at home. I particularly loved the original wooden walls and construction, which gave the apartment a very authentic feeling of being something special and rare. There are not many great old homes like this one!
The living room, kitchen and dining room were all open and bright. The kitchen has everything you need in both space and equipment. The bedroom in the second floor was quite cozy and had its own terrace with chairs and a table. From there you could see the whole neighbourhood.
The neighbourhood itself was very calm and quiet. The few neighbours I met were friendly and greeted me when I passed by. The location is great, as it's away from any main road or noise, but within short walking distance to the best cafés and restaurants in Trondheim.
That area is called Bakklandet and has the best places to go out in the evening. It is right by the riverside and is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink or meal in the summer sun. But if you want to party out into the night, then just walk across the bridge and head towards the centre and find a nightclub. One I recommend is BrukBar, for engaging and varied live music.
If you really want to experience something unique and awesome at the same time, check out Studentersamfundet. It's a massive red, circular building for the entire city's student community. Literally thousands go there in the weekends. It's a big maze of dance floors, pubs and lounges. And if you are lucky, you get a community member to invite you inside to the secret corridors: over thirty different pubs in three floors! Just go to Bakklandet and walk south down the cobblestone road for 15 minutes: it's next to the park to your right.
All in all, Stig's home has everything you need to enjoy your stay and is close to all the interesting sights and places to see and do in Trondheim.
Stig is fantastic! The Apartment is sharing but this has no reflection on the quality of our stay. In fact that apartment has been recently renovated and it is really charming (main entrance on the side with a small white wooden gate...). The room is on the upper floor, while bathroom, kitchen and dining room are on the bottom. The area is really close to the old city and 15min to the station if you like walking. Shops and market are close to the apartment. We really suggest it because the structure is good value for your money!
I like to travel, meet people and new cultures. Airbnb is a graeat way to get in touch with new people and cultures. As a host, I want my guest to feel welcome in my apartment and get the best stay, experience and impressions of my little town. As a guest, I look for the same.
I consider myself as an open mind and outgoing person who is easy to be with.
My recent trips have gone to Vietnam, Italy, Scotland and Cuba. All trips have been by bicycle. A wonderful way to explore the contry and get in touch with people. Highly recommended :-)
