This was our second airbnb experience and was pretty much everything we expected. We found a lovely home, decorated beautifully with Mongolian art and artifacts. It's located in a great neighborhood, within walking distance of numerous Middleton attractions.
Our room was comfortable and included a ceiling fan, which we found useful. There's no dresser, only a two drawer nightstand, which is too small to store very much. For that reason, what we couldn't hang in the closet, we left in our suitcase.
As advertised, breakfast was a (very delicious) smoothie. That was fine with us, but if you're expecting something more, you probably should check with the hosts.
Paul and Iho were gracious hosts who provided us with the space we needed, but were also very open to conversation. We could not have asked for more!
Iho and Paul were very welcoming and from the first second we felt comfortable at their cozy guestroom. The home has warm atmosphere. And all rooms are tasty decorated.
Iho and Paul are very interesting and intellectual people and they discovered us many things about Madison and, generally, about the U.S.A., their traditions and sightseeing.
The access to the public transportation was really good, since the bus station is just a few meters from the house. But we preferred to walk, because the Capitol is near the home (about 20 minutes of walk). It is located in a safe, nice neighborhood.
Thank you so much for hospitality!
I arrived last friday, two days before my Ironman race, to Iho and Alexandrea (their 1 year old) playing and laughing on the front porch. The door was open letting in the warm air, and the house was decorated in authentic eastern Himalayan meets acrylic painter decor. What a warm welcome.
Iho and Paul, you made an exception for me so that I could stay with my wife and 6 year old and not have to split us up all over town. I can't thank you guys enough for your accommodating and generous gesture.
The proximity to fabulous restaurants and the event itself (Monona Terrace), and the complimentary fruit smoothy packed with everything an Ironman needs took soooooo much of the stress out of the entire weekend.
I consider Iho, Paul and little Alexandrea new found friends. You guys are welcome in our home any time next time you're in Minneapolis. And yes I would recommend them a million times over as a wonderful airbnb.
My husband and I had an exceptional time staying with Paul, Iho and Alexandrea. Although our stay was short, we had the pleasure of enjoying their lovely home, neighborhood and city. The accommodations were clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Their home was well situated and within walking distances of many sights, eateries and other Madison attractions (Lake Monona). Paul and Iho were very friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby sights and eateries (Iho was even online and on the phone checking for places that were open on the holiday!) Alexandrea was a total darling---very sociable, animated and quiet at night (for those of you concerned about staying in a home with a small child). And the homemade smoothie in the morning was a special treat! Thank you for being such great hosts--we look forward to staying with you if we pass thru Madison again!
I spent 7 nights at Paul and Iho's. They were very welcoming, considerate and thought of everything. The room was very comfortable and the internet was very fast. The smoothies were delicious. Would definitely stay again, thank you.
This was my second time staying with Paul and Iho and the experience was absolutely ideal once again. The house is beautiful, peaceful and in a perfect location. The neighborhood is a great destination itself, but it is also just a short walk to the capital and State Street. Once again, they made us delicious smoothies to drink in the morning and made sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend staying here!
