Resting in one of the most sought-after locations in downtown Canmore, both of our two-bedroom condos boast spectacular views of the wild, untamed majesty of the Canadian Rockies. They are conveniently located for the amenities of downtown Canmore: the shops, the restaurants and the coffee shops

The space

The moment you step through the door, you will know that no expense has been spared in providing the best in modern living. Both condos feature cherry hardwood finishings, granite kitchen countertops, fir trim, large deck with BBQ hook-up, stunning fireplaces, vaulted ceilings and spacious, panoramic windows - all adding up to sheer luxury.

The kitchens feature a breakfast bar and are fully appointed with dishwasher, electric washer and dryer, side-by-side fridge with ice maker and water cooler, garburator (Canadian for "waste disposal unit"), electric oven/range, and microwave with hood fan.

The bathrooms boast solid granite countertops and heated floors and come stocked with luxuriously plush towels for your stay.

The living areas are sumptuously furnished, each with a large flat-screen TV with satellite dish and full wi-fi connectivity.

Our twin condos are located side-by-side, meaning that we can cater for parties of up to 11 simultaneously, without any loss of spaciousness or luxuriance. So whether it's an extended family get together, a girls' hen party or a college re-union, the Canmore Place Condos are the place to be.

The building also features heated underground parking and an elevator, as well as no-stairs easy access.

Other things to note

When in Canmore, explore some of the surrounding areas as well. You will really learn to appreciate the outdoor lifestyle the residents enjoy. If you did not drive to Canmore, rent a car in town for a day or two and take advantage of what the town has to offer. Here are some of the areas to check out:

Built for the 1988 Calgary Olympic Winter Games, the Canmore Nordic Centre is now a training site for Olympic athletes and a year-round playground for local families and sports lovers. After the complete upgrade in 2005, the Centre has strengthened its position as one of the world's top-level cross-country, biathlon and mountain bike destinations. It features well-lit, beautifully groomed cross-country trails for all levels and styles, more than 100 kilometres of mountain biking and hiking trails, and a Day Lodge with a café, fireplace, changing rooms, showers and lockers, plus equipment rentals in a separate building. The Day Lodge's banquet rooms, with unbeatable views from the vast windows, are very popular for weddings.

Along the route to the Nordic Centre is Quarry Lake, the locals' favourite swimming area. With is views of Ha Ling Peak, Mount Lady MacDonald and the Rundle Mountain Range, the Quarry Lake Park is a popular location for outdoor weddings and picnics. The hiking paths and the off-leash dog area make this a great place for the entire family.

Past the Nordic Centre, the road becomes a gravel road as you drive up the mountain to the trailhead for Ha Ling Peak. You will have driven halfway up the mountain by car, and you can hike the rest. It is a demanding but rewarding day hike. When you reach the top, you feel like you are in the sky with the panoramic view of the entire Bow Valley below you.

Spray Lake is dammed above Canmore and the 55-mile (88-kilometre) lake reservoir is a playground in itself. The turquoise water draws parasailers and boaters in the summer and dogsledding tours in the winter.

The Three Sisters area and the Stewart Creek Golf Course are built around abandoned coalmines and some of the shafts are still visible on the golf course. The Three Sisters area - named after the Three Sisters Mountains - is a large, fast growing development with beautiful condominiums and single-family residences. The area has great hiking trails as well.

The campground's sites by the Bow River are favoured because they make you feel as if you were deep in the woods when, in fact, you are just minutes from the TransCanada Highway. This is also a safe place to put a canoe on the Bow River and paddle all the way to Exshaw.

The Silver Tip area is another gorgeous, fast-growing, high-end residential area that features magnificent residences plus great dining and event facilities. The spectacular 18-hole Silver Tip Golf Course features GPS-equipped golf carts and 185-meter (600 foot) elevation change.

Close to Silver Tip Village is the old pioneer Cemetery with some amazing Hoodoos - pillars of glacial rock left standing after erosion - towering over it. Nearby, the Cougar Creek hiking and biking trails are worth checking out, as is the new BMX (bicycle motocross) track.

When you head back to the downtown Canmore area, do not miss the wonderful Bow River Pedestrian Bridge converted from a railway bridge. Paths on both sides of the turquoise Bow River are perfect for a stroll, with benches to relax on during or after a hearty walk or run.

The North West Mounted Police Barracks is one of downtown's many historical sites. The park beside it is a popular spot for summer events such as Art in the Park. The boardwalk leads to the marshes of Policeman's Creek and additional trails. The Canmore Museum and Geoscience Centre is small, but offers a glimpse into the railway and mining history of the area. Check the gift shop for unusual souvenirs.

Damage deposit agreement
The damage deposit is fully refundable to you. The deposit will only be kept in part or in full if deemed damage has occurred or as below:

I/We, agree to forfeit all, or part (a detailed description of monies due will be provided) if any of the following agreement is breeched during my/our stay at the above property.
1.If smoking has been noticed in the house.

2.If there are any complaints requiring Canmore Bylaw or RCMP regarding my/our conduct while in house such as noise complaints or blocking neighbours driveways.

3.If there is an excessive amount of cleaning to be done followin(URL HIDDEN) my/our visit, by the owners cleaning service. Other than laundry and obvious cleaning, the house, contents of cupboards, furniture and other articles belonging to the house, should be left as they were found upon my/our arrival. It is a privately owned condo and should be respected as such and left clean and tidy.

4.If there is any damage to walls, furniture, fixtures, appliances, towels or sheets, a bill will be provided and this total will be charged to my credit card.

5.If pets have been permitted in the condo

By booking this condo I understand and agree that if rules 1-5 are broken, my group will be required to leave immediately, forfeiting our allotted time, rent paid in full. I also understand that if the cleaning service verifies that there is no excessive cleaning to be done, damage to the property, or missing articles, there will be no additional charges.

Beautiful condo in an excellent location. Central to everything. Well-equipped - everything one would need is supplied in the condo. Communication was fantastic! Canmore is a cute little town with restaurants, shopping, scenic views at every turn, and easy access to Banff and Lake Louise. Indoor parking was convenient and once parked, much of what we needed and wanted to do was in easy walking distance. The accommodations were lovely-comfortable and inviting. Great place to stay and we would definitely come back here again!

We couldn't have found a better place for our Banff base camp. Great place, host and views. The pictures do nothing here justice - amenities included. The parking garage was a pleasant surprise. We will certainly return.

Lindsay's condo was the most positive Airbnb experience I've had. The pictures represent the condo EXACTLY. Everything was clean and all instructions were very clear! We had a bit of trouble understanding how to operate the fireplace, but that was quickly resolved. I am recovering from major surgery and was looking for LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION and we got it!! My parents also appreciated the proximity of the condo to downtown.... Yes! It really is one block away from the main drag. We parked the car safely in the underground parking(also super clean and safe) and walked everywhere. Other residents in the building were super friendly. Such a perfect spot. Hoping to return to get better use of the balcony! Can't recommend this condo and Lindsay as a host enough!!!

The property was very comfortable and worked well for us. We did some hiking in the area so it was nice to have use of the washer/dryer. Location was excellent, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Canmore is much less "touristy" than Banff, but close enough to Banff and other local sites. We would definitely stay here again!

As a host I am always on hand to assist with anything you may need or any questions you have whilst staying in the properties without interference so you can just relax and enjoy the space. I aim to make it a home from home experience for travellers so they have all the comforts they need.

I love to travel and have recently been to Canada, Portugal, Spain, Majorca, Lanzarote, France, Cyprus, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Greece (Santorini and Rhodes) and Turkey. Ive had a blast. My favourite places are Greece and Canada so far. Personally I love to stay in self-catering apartments as you get to really experience the culture, local food and atmosphere.
