About this listing
The room is spacious, luminous, ventilated, calm even though the building is in the historical heart of Montpellier, close to events and easy transportation. The flat is in a wonderfull "hôtel particulier" of XVIIe century with arboreal courtyard
During July and August, I rent the entire flat.
The fare is by week, by 15 days or month. There is enough space for 6 persons to sleep in real beds ;) But you can also contact me for renting a single night ! If the room is available, it would be a pleasure to be your host.
In the room, there is a large dresser with two separated spaces and a large mirror, very efficient for two people ;)
Animals are welcomed ;)
You would have access to the kitchen. The room is next to the entrance and all commun areas so it's easy to feel at home and autonomous.
Interaction with Guests
I make breakfast each day and clean once a week and after your departure. Sheets and towels are available
4 large windows give light and sun all day long in the 2 bedrooms. Sunrise can be appreciated from a couch in the corridor (5th window), and sunset can be seen from the kitchen, with a beautifull view over Montpellier (6th window). During summer, ventilators are available and the situation of the flat (on the top of the building and North South orientation) make a sweet windy atmosphere. We never suffer from hot weather here ;)
The city center is essentially pedestrian
5 minute walk to 4 lines of tramways or any train and bus in central station
10 minute drive to get out the city towards the country side
15 minute drive toward the nearest seaside. You can also get there by tram, bus or ... by bike (15 kms) because there are city bicycles for rent for cheap fare everywhere in Montpellier ;))
15 or 30 minutes to get to rivers (Lez, city river and Hérault, clean water and beautiful trees)
Other Things to Note
Any sport possible (horse riding, kite-surfing, gliders, parachute...) and cultural activities (festivals, museums, kids activities, flea markets)
Montpellier is really well equiped and easy to live because it's not so crowded and polluted ;))
Horay for the sea wind and public transportation - tramway - !
I allow pets (I adore them). I have a little dog (Basil, a parsons russell terrer, 8 years old), he is dominant but very diplomatic (ex tramp, I met him in the street). I've already had guests with a dog couple and everything was fine... so ;)) Smoking is ok for me, out of the windows or occasionally inside. I was smoker a long time ago so I understand, I also understand sensitive guest with the tabaco odors. I respect both situations and preserve atmosphere and tolerance ;))
About the Host, Monica
