We loved the charm and historical presence of the bungalow. There were steps aplenty, but, like life, slow and steady one at a time !!! The location is within a neighborhood and a perfect walking distance to the beach, town center, Mercado, shopping, banks, whatever you would like to explore. Rosalba was extraordinary with allowing for privacy but attending to every detail to make our experience comfortable and special in every way. She provided excellent suggestions for restaurants, all of which became our favorites. Speaking of restaurants, LaGula, located on the 2nd floor of Rosalba's place had a lovely romantic appeal and divine food and wine. It is with heartfelt appreciation that we highly recommend Rosalba's accommodation. Joan and Pat

Thank you so much Rosalba for letting us use the lovely apartment. Our room was so spacious and we truly enjoyed the panoramic balcony and refreshing swimming pool. Your ideas and suggestions helped us have a wonderful time in Zihua. Muchas Gracias, Fran and John

Rosalba's place was great. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and provided panoramic views of the zihuatanejo. We often would hangout by the pool, balcony and absorb the sounds of the city. We met lovely people that lived among us and dined at the restaurant La Gula- very tasty! Rosalba was a great host, she always asked us how we were doing and if we needed anything, and even gave us a ride to the airport! Their is a trek up to the room but it's provides good exercise and practice for the rest of the hills in Zihua. Overall it was a great stay at rosalbas place!

Rosalba was there to greet us when we arrived by cab and is an altogether super host; her English is perfect and she was always available. The small, bright apt had everything we needed and many nights we sat on the balcony above the pool overlooking the panoramic view of the town. Just downstairs are a myriad of restaurants and from the back door we could easily access madeira beach and the boardwalk. The Gula restaurant downstairs, also managed and owned by Rosalba and Pepe is one of Zihua's finest eating establishments with 'heavenly' dishes and attention to detail.

First of all...Rosalba is the best. She is so nice and sweet and thoughtful. The apartment is above her beautiful restaurant, La Gula. She greeted us at the restaurant and took us up to our place...which had a beautiful view of the city. There is a pool downstairs. We ate at La Gula, which had a nice, fusion type menu. Playa La Madera is just 5 minutes away. Everything was great. I totally recommend it.

I had an absolutely amazing experience staying here! Rosalba was the best hostess I could as for! I was also lucky enough to meet her sister Lupita, who showed me around. (Huge thank you again to both ladies!!) The apartment was perfect for my 6 night stay. Although it didn't have air conditioning hooked up, there were fans that helped circulate the air nicely. The only negative thing I can say about the place is, if you are unable to walk stairs, this isn't the place for you as it had many-- I personally loved them though, good exercise and added character to the place. It was also nice to be at the top of the building. I would definitely recommend staying here (and already have to my friends!) Also, while you are there, make sure to check out La Gula Restaurant! Great food and was awesome to wind down the day there, watching the sunset over the mountains with a cold beverage.

My family has lived in Zihuatanejo for 50 years. I own and manage a restaurant called La Gula with my husband who is a local chef. I am passionate about this town which has a lot to offer people who are looking for a break from their busy lives.
