Interaction with Guests
I live in the same apartment, but I am often travelling so I might not be there. The apartment is big enough for both me and the guests to have privacy.
Quiet area, but in walking distance of central Stavanger. Grocery stores and bakery just 5 min walk away. Close to beutiful recreational area.
Bus stop 200 meters from the house.
The appartment has a building entrance and an appartment entrance. Both should be locked at all times.
Please ask me to put out a matrass if you are more than one person, and prefer to sleep in separate beds.
One parking spot in the street is reserved for guests. The street is narrow, so please park close to the house property to ease access for other cars. If you have more than one car, please park the other cars in the streets adjacent to my street.
I had a wonderful time in Stavanger and Tor was a great host and his apartment is in a wonderful location. Grocery store is close, not a far walk to the city center or you can take the bus. His apartment was very clean and I really liked how it was decorated. The room is large and the bed comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.
Stavanger is a fantastic place to visit and Tor Ivar's place is a great place to start your adventure! Plenty of space with all the amenities you need and he is very friendly and helpful...he gave the nudge need to climb Pulpit Rock and I'm thankful he did.
There is a bus stop only a minute or two from his place but I walked everywhere and it's a nice walk to the heart of the city. All in all it's a great place to stay with a great host!
Although we didn't meet Tor himself - he was on a vacation himself - our check-in as well as our stay in his very neat apartment went smoothly. Tor is a very organized host, offering a lot of information about how to get to his place and where to find everything. His apartment is very sunny in a quiet neighborhood, we can recommend it to everybody looking for a nice stay in Stavanger!
Tor is the ultimate Airbnb host. He is kind, generous, and very considerate of his guests. The apartment is clean, charming and well located. I had never used Airbnb before, and my experience with Tor in Stavanger was the best imaginable introduction to the service. If you are planning a trip to Norway, I highly recommend staying with Tor.
My experience with Tor is James Bond's relationship with Q. Oh yes, I'm going to go there! He gives me all the tools and supplies necessary for an awesome stay at Stavanger. He'll go out of his way to make our stay as great as possible. When my friend forgot his jacket for the Pulpit Rock climb, Tor immediately said he could borrow his jacket. What a guy! On top of that, his apartment is really awesome. It's the ultimate bachelor house! I owe this guy a beer when I come back.
The apartment is really nice, and just as advertised! It can be a little tricky to find at first, so it is a good idea to print off a map and the set of instructions that Tor provides. Location is up the hill and ~15 mins walk from the harbour.
Tor was a great host while I was there, including sharing some soup with me on the day I arrived (it was raining so hard that I was reluctant to even walk the 3-4 blocks to get groceries), and lending me his bike to go visit Sverd i Fjell (since it is a bit far to visit by walking, and a little inconvenient by bus).

Positive, easy going and spontaneous. I live alone in a large apartment close to downtown Stavanger. I love to travel and meet new people. I have hosted people since sepember 2011. As far as my guests tells me, I only have happy customers and I want to keep it that way. I take pride in beeing a good host, and promise you a nice comfortable stay at my place.
