My third stay at Frederica's little bit of heaven apartment was wonderful. I was met by Evelyn, her kind and beautiful housekeeper, at the door. Her husband kindly carried my bag up the 145 steps to the beautiful little space that looks out on the most interesting part of Rome. The balcony is perfect for morning expresso and a cornetto from the bakery at bottom of the stairs or a glass of wine or two at the end of the day. Yes, the bathroom is teeny-tiney, but it does the job. The apartment is spotlessly clean. The A/C and wifi work like a charm. It is relatively easy to reach the airport or train station by bus if you are a budget traveler like me. Most, if not all, of the major sights in Rome can be reached on foot. As a single woman traveler this area is the safest for me to go out late in. There are many markets and restaurants, bars and pizzarias all around. I love waking up in the morning and not having to leave the bed to look out over the rooftops. I go to Rome often and have stayed at other apartments, but this one is my favorite by a bunch.

This place is amazing. It's small, with a wonderful view and is in a great location. The pull out sofa is comfortable and Federica couldn't have been nicer.

The apartment is in a great location (walking distance to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona). The place was very cost and had a great view from the terrace. It is up quite a few flight of stairs so make sure you pack light! Or make up for it in good Italian food!

Great location! Federica was helpful and very communicative. The apartment is indeed quite small (especially the bathroom), but that was expected from the accurate description.

Federica Roma rooftop apartment was one of my highlights of my trip to Italy. Yes its a hike up and down those steps but the epic views at the top were worth every step. It is a great central location to everything that is a must see in the city, it is about a 5- 20 minute walk to every monument on your list. I would love to stay here again on my next visit, I would even plan a trip around her apartment availability. Sadly I did not have the pleasure of meeting Federica, but she did text me every day to check in and asked if I needed any help. I did however get to meet her friend Evelyn who was lovely and very helpful.

The place is very small. This is reflected in the description and the price, but I was still a little surprised by how small it was when I got there. Im 6'5, it might be better for people a little shorter, although with time I did get used to it after our 4 days it wasn't such a big deal. This apartment has the best location in all of Rome in my opinion and the photos do not do justice to how amazing the view from the balcony was. Federica was great and she arranged a taxi to take us to the airport at the end of the trip. The seven flights of stairs were no problem for us.
