The entire home. Most closets and cabinets and part of refrigerator may be in use by host.
The historic architectural features of the home and the spectacular old world neighborhood with cobblestone streets, turn of the century homes, historic universities, neo gothic churches, cafés, pubs and restaurants.
The home is close to both the I-65 and I-85. From and to the airport there is a flat rate of $20 using capital city taxi. Once in the neighborhood, there is public transportation. But since so many places of interest are within walking distance, motorized transportation is often not necessary.
Please leave the house in the same shape you found it. Be kind to my neighbors.
We had an absolutely delightful stay! The home is charmingly decorated and exceedingly comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves and will most definitely be back.
Charming, very well appointed home. I met friends who had arrived from Florida before me. I arrived, hungry and tired after a flight to Birmingham and driving to Montgomery after midnight. It was so nice to find chocolates and water to welcome me!
Rick was easy to communicate with, only sorry we never met.
If I ever have occasion to return to Montgomery, I would not have to look anywhere else. This is definitely a home away from home. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you!
A great home in a great neighborhood. Rick seemed really nice though we met him only briefly. Still, a guy who leaves chocolate out for his guests is off to a great start. Everything was clean and comfortable and his tips about the neighborhood and restaurants were excellent.
The reservation was canceled 20 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Rick was wonderful to communicate with, especially this being my first airbnb experience. He was accommodating of our schedule, a welcoming host when we arrived, showed us around and quickly left us to ourselves. Enjoyed the peaceful, quiet house and green backyard. Will definitely look this up again when we return to Montgomery!
We were in Montgomery for a three-day gathering of seven University of Alabama alums, and four of us rented Rick's home in Old Cloverdale. The house, built in 1926, is charming, with hard-wood floors and stuccoed walls in some rooms. It is clean and well-furnished. The kitchen is quite serviceable.
The location was perfect for us, and we dined at Sinclairs and a Mexican restaurant located nearby.
The house is close to the freeway, so we were able to get around the city quite easily. Our visit to Jasmine Gardens was the highlight of the trip, as the place was in full bloom and the weather was sunny.
Rick is an interesting fellow whom we enjoyed meeting. He does everything he can to make sure that you visit is a good experience. We would definitely rent the house in the future.

Rick was very gracious and accommodating. We had 6 people stay for the weekend and really enjoyed ourselves.
