The apartment is perfect for mature group of friends and families. This apartment has one open concept bedroom with one double bed and another regular bedroom with twin beds. The unit counts with a private, beautiful and big terrace.
Plaza Catalunya is the most central area in Barcelona. It is between Eixample area and Gothic-Ciutat Vella area, it has the best things ofthe two areas.
Gothic area is the antique Barcelona, narrow streets, historic buildings, lovely shops and restaurants, Las Ramblas, the Port, Columbus monument, the Liceu opera, Palau de la Música, Museo Picasso, the Cathedral, Ciutadella gardens… All in all very charming and interesting.
Eixample area is built 100 years ago in the modernistic years. There are many modernistic beautiful buildings, La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, smart clothes shops, Paseo de Grácia,…
It is a very well communicated area. There are four metro lines (L1, L3, L4 y L6), train station, local train station and several bus lines.
There is LATE ARRIVAL FEE:
- 30 euros from 9 to 11pm,
- 40 euros from 11pm to 2am
Council tourist tax: 0,72 eur/person/night (1-7 nights). Not applicable for children under 16 years old.
The appart is nice, clean et light. The space looks smaller than in photos but still good. the master bedroom doesn't have a door to lock between living room and the bedroom. It should be announce in the description. The terrace is great !
Not too great. Not enough toilet paper. Not very clean. Tiny toilet not lockable and clogged couldn't turn on the shower even to 50 percent blast we had to take out the filter in the shower to clean it. Very gross. Blood stains on sheets. Ikea cups were broken and glued on, when we tried to wash it it broke and cut the someone's finger. Also no kettle. The mattress for the twin bed extremely thin the other couple had to take the ikea sofa bed (which was smaller) to put on the existing bed. No door on the master bedroom. This is a one bedroom. hazardous steps. To fit sufficient beds and dining table the owner squashed the dining room table so it was on the ledge. This is not very safe. Also we tripped on the internal stairs since there were bit's hanging out . Insufficient hot water for even 2 people (we had 4 staying luckily they prefer to shower in the morning). When we arrived the lady said a few mins this turned into 20 mins which is quite exhausting when you just arrived. And she didn't know how to use the utilities. She also didn't tell us how to take out the trash which was outside on streets. The clothes which were washed and hanging from you previous ppl fell on the ground and the lady said oh just leave it.
Also there was no battery for the air conditioning remotes. Lack of covers for the bed I had to use the blood stained covers.
However great balcony and location and nice of the owner to put our luggage into their commercial office.
Dear Eva. I hope you are doing well. I would like to thank you for your review and I apologize for my late response. However, I would like to explain myself too regarding all the negative aspects you have pointed out. First of all, the apartment is an open-concept unit (this is why there is no door separating the master bedroom) and equipped with the necessary for some days. It is true that when the toilet paper runs out I expect guests to buy their own. However, I am sorry if there was not enough toilet paper for you. The bathroom is small, but for some days it should be enough. It is an old building, so sometimes the blast might not be the best; I am going to make sure to solve this problem for the upcoming stays. I am very very sorry about the linens; I have checked them and effectively I found there were some marks on one of them (even though the cleaning lady had washed it as always). I have already replaced them by new ones. A kettle and new glasses are already in the apartment as well. I have never had any complaint regarding the mattresses and I must say they are new. Indeed, there are two or three steps in the unit, something not too serious in my point of view. The table is tiny since there is a big table outside on the terrace. In addition, I must also say I have never heard anything regarding the hot water, but I am going to check it. If the check-in process was not satisfactory, I truly apologize about that. Eventually, I would like to say that I have had really good comments about this unit and, despite understanding all what you have said, I believe it is a wonderful, quiet and comfortable place for staying at. Thanks again for your words.
This apartment was just as expected! The roof terrace is a winner, its huge - the views over the city rooftops are amazing - most places we looked at just had small balconies. Its right in the centre of all the places we wanted to visit - and being only 4 mins walk from the airport bus stop was great after traveling. The bakery next door was wonderful for breakfast and all the shops you could ever want to visit are on the doorstep. Its very modern inside and fairly well equipped - enough utensils so that we could cook on a couple of evenings. Having a lift was also a huge bonus being on the 5th floor! We had 3 sets of keys which was great, so we could go our separate ways is we wanted. The only slight problems were the size of the bathroom, but we managed and we were a party of 4 females! and the main bedroom which leads straight into the kitchen, no doors, but you get used to it! Just one word of warning - be quiet in the apartment as the neighbours may have a moan! Overall we all had a fantastic time here, would love to return and would recommend it to anyone wanting to be in the thick of Barri Gotic. Thanks Luis
Luis arranged a flexible checkin and checkout. The apartment is in the very heart of Barcelona with easy walking distance in gothic, Raval and born area. Everything was clean and in good stand, terrace is just amazing! Pictures are quite spot on what's this apartment have to offer. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay Luis!
We stayed here for a long weekend in Barcelona and the location of the apartment was amazing! It was a short walk to a lot of sites and it was easy to access public transportation. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor terrace, its just as spacious as in the pictures. The apartment is also just as it is pictured, however its posted as a 2 bedroom but the room with the bigger bed does not have a door, it was not a problem for us but depending on who you're staying with you may want more privacy. Overall, Luis was fantastic and easy to communicate with and his apartment was clean, central and beautiful. If we are ever in Barcelona again, we would stay here.
Location is THE BEST i would say, 2 minutes far from Catalonia square :) Venue is clean and well furnished :)
Small minuses are rather small bathroom and showerplace, and bad smell on the terrace at the evening, I considered it from sewer system or smth.
This apartment is in the perfect area. 5 minutes walk from La Rumbla and has everything you need. The private rooftop terrace is a real treat. I recommend it completely.
