My family and I really enjoyed this apartment at the center of Innsbruck. The apartment was very clean, quiet, and has everything we need (include free parking at the garage). Thomas and Heidi were extremely friendly and hospitable. Thomas tried to predict our wishes and did his best. In the apartment we had a lot of useful things (spices, sauces, and so on). Actually, my wife told she was ready to cook all her life with amazing view for old Innsbruck and mountains :)) We felt ourself like at home! The area also has everything that we expected, with restaurants and supermarket close and easy access to public transport. I was happy to have business with Thomas and can recommend his apartment to rent.
We had a fantastic stay at Thomas' apartment. It was exactly as in the pictures, with excellent views of Innsbruck and located close to the old town. Thomas (and his sister, Lucia) gave us plenty of information and suggestions, and check in and out were easy. It was an excellent week and we'd be happy to stay again.
Thomas' apartment was excellent. Great location, very clean (I am fussy) and Thomas and his sister were excellent to deal with. Thank you for making your home available to us. Emma
Very warm and nice welcome from Petra.
The apartment was perfect, really near the center, quiet and beautiful view.
Will come back!
Great communication from Thomas. Although he was away when we visited Innsbruck, he arranged for a friend to greet us at his apartment. Fantastic welcome from Petra on arrival, her hospitality and eagerness to advise us was very much appreciated.
The apartment was above and beyond what we had expected, very comfortable with views to die for! It was just as described and shown on the airbnb website, and so well equipped - absolutely everything was on hand, just like a home away from home.
We had a fantastic couple of days in Innsbruck and the rooftop apartment certainly contributed to this experience. The apartment location is ideal, so close to the Old Town, Market Hall, Congress etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending it!!
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Our family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out and to socialize. The apartment is situated perfectly for easy walking access to old Innsbruck and also to the many skiing areas. Although we drove so we could do some site-seeing on the way home, there is a bus available nearby to take skiers up to the slopes.
We were in town over the New Year's holiday, and Innsbruckers (? what does one call people from Innsbruck? ) light up the night with fireworks displays on hill and valley. The view from the apartment couldn't have been better and we stayed warm while watching the spectacle for over 30 minutes.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor (that's 4th for the Americans out there) and reachable only by stairs. My family enjoys the extra exercise to burn off all the goodies we inevitably consume in town, but it may be difficult for folks with bad knees or the chronically lazy. Well, to be honest, my 10-yr old son usually reacts to the realization that there's no elevator with a groan, an accusatory stare at me, followed by a shake of the head and an eye-roll before discovering how enjoyable stairs can be. The reward for the climb are views of the mountains and valley that can only be had from on high; and they are worth it.
We didn't get to meet our hosts on this trip, but they did provide us with a wealth of useful information on restaurants and things to do in town and a welcome bottle of wine. Instead we were met by Thomas's sister, Lucia, and her wonderfully welcoming smile. She met us down in the garage when we pulled up and helped us get settled, walking us through the apartment, giving us some pointers on ski areas and where we could pick up some medicine for our youngest who became sick mid-journey. We had a few questions while we were in town and she was always just a text away.
We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Thomas's apartment to anyone visiting Innsbruck.
Hi I’m Thomas an Austrian Filmmaker and Photographer who likes traveling. I have lived in Sweden, Mexico, France and Australia and have now returned to my hometown and home-base Innsbruck . I love going to the nearby mountains in summer for runs, hikes and mountain-biking and in winter for snowboarding and skiing. There is heaps to do here. I’m sure you will enjoy the heart of the Alps as much as I do :)
