About this listing
This is our smallest room. It's a double bedroom, located on the ground floor, with our normal, vast set of double cedar doors, gilded and painted, and leading onto the central courtyard, which is open to the sky in the summer, and covered and heated in the winter.
The room has a comfortable double bed with a wrought iron frame, a hand made Rbati carpet, and that's about it. Thick walls keep the medina and summer heat at bay, and there's a majestically high, cedar wood ceiling. There is modern air conditioning and heating.
The room has a private, en suite shower room with shower, wc, and hand basin, finished in dramatic black tadelekt.
We part own a Moroccan Tourist Transport company and are happy to provide quotes to take you on into the Atlas, the Sahara, the Rif, Marrakech and Essaouira. Rates start at 120 euros per day for an air conditioned 4x4/SUV, fuel, and an English speaking driver/guide.
We try not to make any rules... but we would prefer it if you didn't smoke in the bedrooms.
Please note that while everything from a banquet to a snack is available, and breakfast is included, the kitchen is not available for guests use.
As the house surrounds a courtyard, please respect other guests need to sleep and avoid loud noise late at night. If you have the house to yourself and there are no other guests or family there, party as late as you like.
We really loved your place, your staff has been really accurate and helpful. This a really romantic place and we had the pleasure of having dinner in the Ryhad and the food was amazing, best Tajin ever. I would highly recommend!
Perfect location, close to all attractive places and in the heart of medina. Very nice and helpful people, it was real joy to stay in this place. Very delicious breakfast, air conditioning, traditional house with a lot of beautiful things. Very good description how to find the house, it was easy thank you! Highly recommended! :)
The description was accurate and also reviews! Everything was great, but the bathroom was too dark. We had reserved a driver to pick us up from the airport, somehow he forgot, but Mark got us a new driver driver right away and it was for free! Thank you!
Fes was amazing experience, full lovely city, people, the riad was great, clean, and perfect service.
mohamed was amazing, helped me with all my questions and thanks to a unique expeiencia lived, thank you very much and recommend this riad 200%
Dar Rbab was charming, comfortable, and conveniently located. There's not much else I can ask for! Muhammed, who received us, was very gracious and helpful in booking us dinner and a guided tour of Fes, which without our guide Abdul we would not have been able to navigate smoothly. I did not personally meet Mark, but he was very responsive to any questions I had. A big thank you to Mark, Muhammed, and Abdul for a wonderful time in Fes!
Très jolie maison.
On regrette juste la présence de cafards, le manager a eu la gentillesse de nous changer de chambre mais le problème était le même dans la seconde chambre.

About the Host, Mark
I've been in Morocco since 1999. I run a small specialist travel agency and regularly lead trips through the Sahara and the Atlas mountains.
I'm British, and speak English, French and the local Arabic dialect.
I adore travel, food, and culture. Dar Rbab was a family home to myself, my wife, who's Moroccan, and our two daughters and we hope our guests enjoy this beautiful old house as much as we do.
