The OCEAN FRONT Bungalow is located in the Placencia Village and is less than a 5 minute walk along the Placencia sidewalk to the beginning of 20+ fantastic bars and restaurants. In addition to the phenomenal location, this beach front property offers lounge chairs on your private deck, private furnished rooftop or take a dip in the Caribbean Sea which is only 70 feet away! Sleeps 2 people. There is a 3 night minimum stay during Low/High Season.

The space
The Coconut Beach Rentals property where this unit is located offers 3 vacation rental units on the oceanfront, each with unobstructed oceans views and 700 square feet or greater of private deck space, private beach access within 120 feet from the Caribbean Sea. Each unit offers indoor/outdoor dining areas.

Each unit has modern design and furniture, a large HD TV with 100+ channels, wifi, a king size bed and a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. All units feature high speed complimentary internet access so you can stay connected while you are away. Each unit also includes an air conditioning system.

This unit is the OCEAN FRONT Bungalow. It is located closest to the Caribbean Sea in front of the Ocean View Bungalow. The Ocean Front Bungalow is a 500 square foot studio with a 500 square foot private furnished roof deck and a 200 square foot front balcony with unobstructed ocean views just 70 feet from the Caribbean Sea. There is also an outdoor rinse/foot bath. The interior features a king size bed, custom high end wood furniture and a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There is an island and stools for convenient in unit dining and an outdoor table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is a small couch and large HD TV with over 100 channels (including premium channels), and Amazon Fire stick to access all TV apps you utilize (Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, and etc).

There is $10US charge for a load of laundry available.

In 2013, David (my husband) and I met a Belizean from Placencia while living in New York. He invited us to stay at his house in the Placencia Village and after one visit, we fell in love with the village, the people, the food, and the relaxing way of life in Placencia. We went back every year for a week and eventually purchased the original Toucan Lulu (which was shown on HGTV), transformed the old house into The Coconut House and built two high end bungalows. We are proud to offer modern amenities on a beautiful, relaxing oceanfront lot so that others can have the opportunity to experience the relaxing and amazing vacation that we had years ago.

We also just recently expanded our Airbnb portfolio and purchased and renovated the Leo Loft and The Grand Ave Apartments. The Leo Loft is a spacious and art deco inspired 2 bed/2 bath apartment located in West Town Chicago, one of the premier live/work spaces anchoring Chicago's desirable West Loop neighborhood. The Grand Ave Apartments are 2 bed/1 baths Parisian/Scandinavian inspired apartments with a lovely backyard in the heart of the West Loop. During your stay

We offer airport shuttle pick up at the local Placencia Airport to Coconut Beach upon arrangement. You are responsible for your departure taxi ($10US) and we can assist you scheduling the departure. Our Property Manager, Tricia, will meet you upon arrival and show you the house and, assist with any requests! Please do let us know how you will communicate with us if you arrive via car as we will need to meet you in front of the property.
