Very nice apartment with great views of the harbor. The air conditioned apartment was very clean and stylishly appointed. This secure location has parking in a pass-key garage out of the sun. Walking distance to grocery store, cinema and nice restaurants. Only a short bus ride ( 75 cents) to Old San Juan, El Morro and transfer to free trolley for other sites. Highly recommend. We will repeat...
Yamilka was a great host. The place was beautiful just like in the pictures shown. It is located in a great center location. Yamilkas place lets you feel like you are right at home. She also has a hair dryer, iron, towels, condiments to cook in the apartment. The couch is a nice pull out bed and there is an extra mattress for someone else plus the bed in the room. The location is very safe and the security downstairs is very helpful. The AC worked perfectly and best of all the place smells great 24/7. Don't think twice and book with Yamilka you wont regret it! ;)
Yamilka was an awesome host! Her place is beautiful! We had a lot of communication before our stay (and some afterwards). We would love to stay at one of her places again during out next trip to Puerto Rico!

WE LOVED our stay. The beach was only about 1.5 miles away along with a large area of trendy tourist shops and restaurants and it was an easy adventerous walk. One day we even walked to (and all over!) Old San Juan. It's a long walk. I would recommend taking taxi next time. On the way back we took the city bus. Much easier! There is a Mega Walmart with a large deli inside (great food!) and Walgreens Drugs about 2 miles away on the same street, but unless you're on the adventurous side, I wouldn't recommend it. You will walk through some very poor and "earthy" neighborhoods and past a park where there are a lot of homeless people. I'm not sure if I would feel comfortable walking down there at night. Definitely take the bus or call a taxi. Know your spanish if you take a taxi, because most that we ran into don't speak english. Or if you're walking, head the other direction to the beach area where you will find several nice restaurants (Sizzler, Denny's, Ben & Jerry's, etc). Only two little thingsI would change: some fluffier pillows..they were a little hard and flat, and having the water a little hotter. The "hot" water was a little on the cool side for us. Oh, and I almost forgot... we didn't see the kitchen sink stopper, so we used a plastic grocery bag to hold the water in while we washed dishes. Be advised, the kitchen does NOT have a oven, but who wants to bake on their vacation, right? There is a small counter top stove with three burners and a small microwave and a coffee pot with coffee, med size fridge and freezer and a few bottles of ice cold water which was VERY refreshing after a long flight. Pot, pans, dishes, silverware, towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, iron, extra blankets, etc... everything is provided. Two air conditioners keep the apartment very comfortable. We stayed for 4 days, then an additional night following our cruise. Yamilka was more than accomodating, allowing us to "park" our baggage in the apartment while she cleaned after the previous guests. Unfortunately, we didn't have internet connection on our last night...more than likely due to the "Celebration" (Puerto Rico national day) and the entire island people and tourists 600,000 all on the internet sharing information. There were about 15 other internet providers including the Sheriton Hotel who had completely blocked out Yamilka's service. We tried unplugging as suggested, but that's just the internet game sometimes. The internet is still a limited world. One day without didn't kill us. Oh, and Yamilka has two other apartments closer in to the "night life" scene if that is what you're looking for. This aparment was quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed it a great deal. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a WONDERFUL stay!
The condo is conveniently located across the street from the Convention Center/Sheraton Hotel and Casino. The condo was thoroughly clean and presented quite nicely (updated and modern). The condo was homey and stocked with many little “extras” (spices and oil for cooking and umbrellas to use when we went out). Also, I really valued the maps and coupons (located inside the magazines) that were made available for our use. We really enjoyed our interactions with the security staff. They were really helpful and accommodating (laundry, calling a cab etc…). The building and parking garage are very secure and easily accessible (once we figured out where it was located!). The details and little “touches” made our stay absolutely superb. Thank you Yamilka!
It's a nice apartment. As a part of our one-week trip at Puerto Rico, my wife and I stayed in this apartment for three nights. The location is good. Only ten minutes drive to the Old San Juan. A grocery store within walk distance is also convenient. We recommend this apartment.
We had a great stay here last week! The apartment was very clean and well-decorated, complete with shampoo and conditioner in the shower and bottled waters in the fridge. Yamilka is the sweetest lady and checked up on us to make sure we were having a great time. The air conditioner was loud but worked great. The location is a great bouncing pad for getting around San Juan! You can walk to the condado area and beaches, and it's only a short bus or taxi ride away from Old San Juan (but beware: the bus system is terrible... there are no schedules. we ended up taking mostly taxis)
Thank you so much Yamilka for the great stay!
I became sick and was unable to stay at Yamilka's but my correspondence with her was great and she was very understanding - even willing to make a accommodation in the future if I return. I leave five star ratings here because I must rate to leave this message.
I was in Puerto Rico for a friend's wedding and stayed at Yamilka's with 2 other friends. Yamilka is very sweet and helpful. Her place is at a great location– convenient to get to places. We did a lot of things outside, and it's nice to go back to a place that feels like home.
