Stefano was very friendly and helpful. Gave us tips on what bus to take from place to place. Quite surprised when he ask for city tax payment but it is a regulation in Rome. Though I hope we had been inform about the city tax earlier when booking for the apartment. Overall it was a great apartment but with limited hot water for showering.
We had some problems communicating with Stefano in the beginning but it worked out when he finally arrived to give us the keys. The apartment is big and the kitchen was equipped for light meals. However this apartment is on top of a supermarket and if you intend to sleep unit 7am or 8am you may be woken up before 6am when they resupply the store. The location is far from the center you have to take a bus or walk 4 to 5 stations. The transportation is easy and plentiful. The apartment is within walking distance to a train station that takes you straight to the airport. Also make sure that you know that you have to pay city tax that is 3.5 Euro per person per night Air B&B did not mention it at the time of the reservation.
Overall we had all we needed to make our trip comfortable. I will recommend it.
Ottima Accoglienza. Tutto esattamente come scritto sull'annuncio.
Spacious apartment with good access to multiple public transport options. Nice local neighborhood with lively Sunday market and multiple eatery options. Good ACs and hot water. The only issue we had with the apartment was it was dirty: dishes dirty, bathroom dirty and floors unswept. When mentioned to the host he made many excuses about being busy with guests, hopefully this was a one time experience but I'm not sure.
Stefano was warm, welcoming and funny. He responded quickly to all of the messages I sent him online, and was very accommodating with our strange arrival and departure times. The apartment itself is very comfortable. Of the 4 different places we stayed during this trip, the beds here were the softest. The one warning I would give is that it's a bit further of a walk to the center of Trastevere than I anticipated (15 minutes), which was difficult for one member of our party with a bad back. That's also where the taxi stands are, as it's difficult to find one out right outside the building. However, if the walk is not an issue, it's a large, cozy apartment, and Stefano was a nice host.
