I very much enjoyed my stay at Mary's home. The house is cosy, and the neighbourhood is nice with many restaurants, cafes and shops. The city centre is easily reachable by public transport or by foot. Mary is really kind, helpful and reliable. I warmly recommend her as a host!
Terrific house: elegant, comfortable, modern, and classy. Great location, Ranleigh is s good place to be for what it offers as well as its access to entire city. Mary is friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and caring. I can't say anything more or less than, WONDERFUL experience.(and great value).
My mum stayed at Mary's place in Ranelagh for a few nights while visiting me. Unfortunately Mary was travelling abroad during my mum's stay so we didn't get to meet her. However Mary's kindly organized for me to pick up the house key before hand so we could let ourselves in. My mum's single bedroom was nicely sized, clean, quiet and warm. There is also a nice kitchen where people can have breakfast in the morning. The house location is excellent in Ranelagh village you have all sort of amenities (bars, restaurants, supermarkets and more). If you like walking you're 30 minutes away from Dublin city center while if you don't the village is very well connected to the center through tram (LUAS) and buses. Next time I have guests coming over to visit me I will suggest Mary's place again.
Mary's house is great, full of character and very cosy! My single room was very much alike in its aspect and was clean and convenient situated on second floor above the bathroom which is also large and easy to use. It was possible to use the kitchen for a coffee or a tea but the neighborhood of Ranelagh is so full of coffee shops that having your breakfast out while heading for the city centre was a real pleasure!! Mary the owner of the house is a very nice lady who speaks a perfect French.I didn't see her much because I left every morning very early to make the most of the time I had in Dublin for this perfect weekend!!Going to the centre of Dublin from Ranelagh is very simple and doesn't take more than 20 minutes so no need to pay for public transportation!! Dublin is also great for that because neither small not too large.I had no problem sleeping at night because the neighborhood is very quiet and residential.I highly recommend this single room in this very lovely house!
I had a wonderful stay at Mary's place. The location is perfect, easy to reach from the airport and it is just a few minutes from the city center by public transport. The house is really cosy, nicely decorated. Mary is a wonderful host, very welcoming and interesting to talk to, always kind and helpful. It was my first time as a lone traveller and I felt really at ease during the stay. I couldn't have asked for more
