This home sleeps 8 comfortably with your own bedrooms, 6 custom bunk beds in the loft area with 4 school lockers and 3 large bean bag chairs-quite the hit with the kids. We added three additional outside patio areas, one with artificial turf, for your outdoor relaxing and family gatherings. The master bedroom has a king Tempur-Pedic bed and all other bedrooms have upgraded queen size beds.

The space
The FARMHOUSE at Flagstaff is a gorgeous newly renovated home of over 3200 square feet with an additional 800 usable exterior square feet of patio areas overlooking beautiful Mount Elden. The backyard is fully fenced for the safety of your children and pets and because we are in a cul-de-sac there is very little traffic.

If you are looking for a comfortable luxurious place to base out of while exploring the vast legendary area of Northern Arizona or you just wish to relax with a cold drink on the patio's, this home is ideal for you.

Guest access
Our guests will be able to enjoy our entire home and yard. We typically have our garage locked as we have our truck parked in the garage as well as all of my husband's tools.

If you need access to our garage, it can be available. We ask that our personal belongings are respected.

We have the AugustHome key lock system in our home. So, our guests will have access to entering and exiting our home through Bluetooth with the AugustHome APP or through the keypad to the left of the front door.

Other things to note
You'll find yourself delightfully cool in the summer as our elevation in Flagstaff is 7000 feet.

Fun activities include Flagstaff's amazing hiking & biking as well as skiing and snowboarding at the AZ SnowBowl, Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon with prestigious hiking, sight-seeing and shopping, as well as shopping, & dining in Downtown Flagstaff.

NAU (Northern AZ University) is close for those who want to tour the University, Bearizona & Out-Of-Africa are less than an hour away and great fun for adults and kids. Believe it or not Arizona has very good wineries just 45 minutes away and Flagstaff is known for some of the best beer breweries around. Lake Powell and Rainbow Bridge is a must see and The Grand Canyon is one of the 7 wonders of the World. Stay once and you will understand why it's a wonderful family getaway with many options.

Neighborhood highlights

Our neighborhood is considered the Shadow Mountain neighborhood of Flagstaff, Arizona. There is a Safeway literally two blocks from our home for grocery shopping.

The Mount Elden hiking trail starts at the base of our cul-de-sac and is wonderful for mountain biking and hiking. You can even hike to Buffalo Hill, which at one point was a vast park on Cedar Hill that had Buffalo when I was a little girl.

We have a beautiful patio in the back yard, a patio off of the kitchen/dining area, and a patio off of the master bedroom with plenty of patio furniture, fire pits, and gas patio heater.

The plus is that we are in the heart of Flagstaff, so you are close to everything as well as being at the edge of Mount Elden.

Pine trees and aspen trees fill our yard and neighborhood for that extra touch of the outdoors.

Jeff and I are 52, have four grown children and 5 grandchildren. Our oldest is the evening meteorologist for Seattle's NBC (KING) station and has twins that are 3. If you are ever in Seattle, look up Jordan Steele for your evening weather. Our next son is in Austin, TX as a home inspector, is a newlywed, and was a rescue swimmer in the USCG. Our two daughters are in Phoenix and San Francisco and one is just graduating from USF this May with honors and the other has three children and just came back from 3 years living in Italy. We love renovating and remodeling homes. This is our second renovation of a home while we were living in it. What is wrong with that picture?!!!! I think we need to take a break for awhile. Our first home in Flagstaff we remodeled as a cozy log cabin and literally got all of our aspen and pine logs from the San Francisco Peaks, and we chopped them down ourselves. Our home on Adrianne Way is a very different style where we took an older early 90's home with white carpet, white walls, oak trim and cabinets, and turned it into an industrial farmhouse "steampunk" style. We tore walls down, added windows, and opened this home up to where everyone in the house feels like they are part of the party. We love entertaining and sharing our hard work for others to enjoy.
