Very special visit for us to Venezia! Filming Karenina and I, everything close to where we were shooting.
House clean and practical!
Marco who met us , very kind and helpful, also when we called after coming back! Thank you!
Only negative thing, very early check out! And there is only 2 rooms, not a real 3rd room.
The place is lovely - clean, prepared, and amazingly located for the biennale. It's in a much less touristy part of Venice (which was lovely). And the wireless is great: fast and stable
The hosting was great and smooth in the end. A couple of caveats
- the hosting is done by a service so you'll have to make sure that they're available at your time of arrival - otherwise you may have to wait for them at the dock while they service other clients
- the amenities are bare bones: one roll of toilet paper, one serving of dishwasher soap, no hand soap.
- not sure if it was just the time of year, but there were a ton of Mosquitos in the apt. Windows (like most in Venice) don't have screens so its a trade off to keep them opened.
Overall though, great stay!
We had a great stay in this apartment. There were 6 of us so it was a little cramped, but the location and facilities were great. It was very convenient being so close to a supermarket and cafes in a quiet spot but still being walking distance to St Marks square. Really appreciated the wifi, airconditioning and washing machine and dishwasher. Check in was easy and well organized - it was great being met at the vaporetto stop. The small staircase was a bit challenging with our bags but we managed OK. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.
Terrific location outside the main centre so not the main tourist drag but certainly plenty happening. The apartment was tight for a family of 4 but comfortable and modern and as we hardly spent time there was great. We caught the river bus mostly to get around when not wandering the streets. Murano was worth a visit but get there before 1pm if possible for the glass blowing; apparently one can see it until 4pm but that may be heresy. We loved our rather too short time in Venice.
This was a great place to stay. Not a huge place, and we had to use the living room as a sleeping space (we were two adults and four teenagers), but the space was well organized to make it very workable. It was a nice apartment, just off the great Via Garabaldi in Castello, which was a neighbourhood we all enjoyed very much - away from the centre, but with so much character and a local feel. Marco, who met us upon arrival, was very helpful and we had everything we needed to make our stay really enjoyable. Definitely recommended.
The apartment is thought through well and had everything we needed. Definitely a good value and we did spent great time there. The store is nearby and the location is quiet.
The host was very friendly and provided us with all possible information we might need.
Both the bulding and the flat were very nice. Exactlly as shown in the pictures. Very beautiful desing, close to many markets and restaurants. Is 15-20 minutes wlak away from the more touristic part on Venice, which is a bit too much, but still good.
Great apartment! It's large and clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen) and in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely return to this apartment when we come back to Venice and have already recommended it to our friends.
