  • Our stay in Robert's condo was perfect! Very clean. The housekeeper was a sweetheart. Very relaxing with the pool and the rooftop deck and the neighborhood was quiet as well. We saw both dolphins and whales from up there. Walking distance to all the great things Old Town has to offer but far enough way to feel like home away from the hustle and bustle. Robert's restaurant recommendations were great. The tapas place on the corner was perfect for a quick bite and a beer and Café des Artistes was a great "date night" in PV. We highly recommend this place!

  • My wife and I and an old friend stayed at Villa Francesca for one month and it was an absolute dream. The Villa itself is beautifully constructed and has a spectacular roof deck with panoramic views of the Sierra Madres and the Pacific. There is also a ground floor deck off the second bedroom (and accessible via a separate hallway) with a coldtub that can be turned into a hottub upon request. There is always somewhere to go in this 2500 sq. ft. luxury Villa to be comfortable or to have some time on your own.

The Villa is situated in the centre of Old Town directly behind the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Miramar Street. We found the location to be absolutely ideal. The neighbourhood is really friendly with a private hotel, tapas bar, bike rental and convenience store and that's just on Miramar!

Our experience with Robert was excellent. He is a great host and has a real love and enthusiasm for Puerto Vallarta that he will share with you if you are interested. Lorena

I will end by saying that I found the other reviews on this site to be accurate. My wife and I plan to return to Villa Francesca as soon as we can.

P.S. The mattresses and sheets were high quality and very comfortable. A very luxurious sleeping experience in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

  • Robert was an excellent, accommodating and warm host and took care of all our needs. Robert arranged a cot/crib for our toddlers, drove me to a pharmacy so that I could pick up some urgent prescription drugs my dad forgot to bring. The villa is located at the heart of Puerto Vallarta and only few minutes from nice beaches, restaurants, shopping etc. Kitchen was well equipped. Maid service left the house neat everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa and hope to come back again.

On a final note, I want to add that the stairs to go to one of the bedrooms was steep for our 14 month old toddlers. So families with toddlers have to be a bit watchful.

  • The pictures do not do the house justice! Beautifully decorated but all the amenities that you'll need, this house really felt like a home. It was a short walk down to the beach and restaurants and a convenience store were available a block away. If I come back to Puerto Vallarta, I would love to stay here again!

  • What a beautiful apartment, complete with private back terrace and gracious balcony with unparalleled views of the Pacific! The roads leading up to the apartment are steep and bumpy, but well worth the hike by car or foot. If you really want a taste for life in this charming town, this apartment provides the perfect central location. Romantic melodies played by the mariachi band serenading the upscale boutique hotel restaurant next door can be heard nightly. Fireworks over the Pacific can be viewed from the roof balcony. It really is a special place.

Robert was a gracious host full of helpful advice about local restaurants, and daily maid service was provided by a most cheerful local woman. The apartment itself was immaculate and well-appointed.

If we return to Puerto Vallarta, there is no other place I'd rather stay!

  • Fantastic Villa close to the beaches, restaurants, and old town. We enjoyed many a nights relaxing on the rooftop deck that overlooks the bay or in the private courtyard around the hot tub.

Robert went far beyond being a host during our stay and with helping us when we decided to extend our trip. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to visit....you will not be disappointed.

  • Absolutely amazing experience - couldn't have been happier. Robert was beyond cordial and welcoming, the house cleaning lady had some of the best energy experienced in all of our stay in Puerto Vallarta.

The house itself was spellbinding. Enormous, clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It had every amenity one could possibly ask for. We plan on returning to Puerto Vallarta and without hesitation will be staying here again.

Thank you for such an incredible experience. Truly BEYOND expectations!

  • Robert is an excellent host who is passionate about puerto Vallarta. He built the villa around 2003 and took care with all the details of the layout and design. It is elegant large villa, extending up one floor to the upper bedroom and further up to a rooftop where you find sun loungers, shade and a panoramic view of town, the ocean and the mountains. The road is quiet, and cobbled as are most roads in this part of town. The sidewalk is elevated about 3 feet above the road, as is common in this part of town. The front room is on the sidewalk level and hence very private and indeed cozy. The lower floor rear bedroom is completely silent, and it had its own bathroom (w shower) and french doors to the completely private back outdoors where there is a tub and plants that look splendid. The location is ideal, 5 min up the hill from the main shop and beach streets where we found excellent restaurants some as good as in a top US city. I cant imagine how you could do any better. We will visit this villa again.

  • The house is amazing, it was even better than in the pictures. Very nice and quiet, literally next door to Hasienda San Angel, where we went for dinner the first night and for brunch on Sunday. I would highly recommend to do that because it is so beautiful, and you can here the mariachi band playing at San Angel every night when you are on the roof top of the house!

The area was very nice and quiet and felt more authentic than the areas right next to the beach. The beach was very close 5-10 min walk. The house is located just up the hill from the main Cathedral. There are steps that you need to take to get to the house, but we enjoyed them and they became a part of our little "workout" daily routine.

The house was very clean, daily maid service - impeccable, the maid was very nice and attentive. The cooldown pool was great for four. You can ask Robert to adjust the temperature to turn it into a hot tub in the evening, which we enjoyed a lot!

Overall, we would definitely stay in that house and in that area again. In fact we are already planning to come back next year! Hope to see you then, Robert!
