Cozy one-bedroom apartment, with a fun retro-vibe across the street from the University. Our place is very well lit in the evenings with automatic dusk till dawn lights for security. Only a rock throw away from NMSU! No car necessary to get to restaurants, grocery stores, or brewery, all a short walk away. Full kitchen, wi-fi, fully furnished, great for short or long-term stay!

The space
This casita is privately set off an alley, avoiding the noise of heavy traffic. It is part of a tri-plex. It has one bedroom with a full bed and vanity area and three very large closets for storage, and two large windows for plenty of light. Black out shades provided for light sleepers. Spacious living room has fold down couch for a second bed. SECOND BED WITH LINENS MUST BE REQUESTED IN ADVANCE (AT LEAST A 24 HOUR NOTICE) so I can have it set up for you. There is a full kitchen, complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and dishes where you can prepare meals. We like to provide coffee and creamer to make your mornings a little more enjoyable. There is a large dining table with four chairs to sit and enjoy your home cooked meals or play a board game. We have a desk area ready with USB connectors for charging phones and other electronics or to sit and hit the books.
Guests have access to the entire casita and their own private porch in front with outdoor chairs to sit and enjoy coffee in the mornings... yard is currently under transition and it is not enclosed and will not keep pets or kids in.
There is a television with local channels and Roku/netflix available for your enjoyment.

Minimal interaction with hosts... unless you have questions or need special assistance. We can respond quickly should a need arise, just a phone call away.

This area has other small homes nearby. We love that it is so close to the university and the Las Cruces Convention Center. You can enjoy local restaurants that are a short walk away; Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Jimmy Johns Deli, Zeffiro Pizza, IHOP, The Game Sports Bar and Grill, Bosque Brewing Co., and a bunch more to choose from. Fed Ex Office Print and Ship Center is also next door.

Las Cruces has public transportation that you can catch 200ft away. There is parking at the casita in case you have a rental car. This casita is conveniently located right next to the University with anything you may need near by.

Our goal is for guests to enjoy and have their comfort needs met while staying. Please feel free to make recommendations, we are happy to improve.

Guest access
Guests will have front porch area of casita outside. We do not allow guests to use the back yard since that is where we store all of our maintenance items.

Other things to note
Garbage is picked up every Thursday. Please place all waste in our locked garbage dumpster across from the casitas. Unfortunately they do not allow us to recycle with this large dumpster.

I love to meet new people from other cities and hear about their lives. My husband is Sicilian and we enjoy spending our time working on many home projects, and caring for our many rescue animals. My personal goal is to have every guest feel completley comfortable. I hope that if there was any way we could improve our casita, that they let us know.
