People who visit Alberta's little all-season town of Canmore (pop. 12,000) have big expectations. Once a coal town, Canmore gained notoriety during the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, and it’s been booming ever since as a recreational hot spot.
Just 70 miles from Calgary, Canmore is nestled in Alberta's Bow Valley, surrounded by mountains and wildlife. It's the perfect locale for fishing, climbing, canoeing, all kinds of winter sports, and more. Banff National Park is approximately 7.5 miles from your resort, and world-famous Lake Louise is a little more than an hour's drive away.
If you want to take it easy, take a stroll through the quaint town. Its main street is home to galleries where painters, quilters, stained-glass artisans, and blacksmiths can be found at work. Or just relax in one of Canmore's many charming pubs or restaurants near your resort. With a little luck, you may even see a Hollywood film being shot here.
A Passport or Enhanced ID is needed for entry into Canada.

Unfortunately, I was unable to stay at the home the night I had it booked for, for unforeseen circumstances, but Rey was very communicative and helpful. For that, I would recommend his services, no doubt.
Rey was a great host. He responded to emails very quickly. The condo was great. It had all the amenities and a great view of the mountains. Check in/out was a breeze. If you are staying in Canmore, I would definitely recommend staying at his place.
The resort was absolutely beautiful. It was beyond our expectations and a great deal for the money spend. We asked Rey if we could request a room with a view and he told us to call the front desk ahead. They assigned us a gorgeous mountain view room close by the pool and fitness area. The room was so nice and clean and had all the kitchen amenities we needed. Canmore is a super cool little town with some nice restaurants and shops on the main street. It is a lot less touristy than Banff, which we loved. But it doesnt have the same night life as Banff thoguh if you want to go out. The front desk staff were so kind and helped us with finding a sportsbar down town, sun beds for the pool and local jogging routes. The fitness room is rather small but the pool area was perfect and with a mountain view. Would definitely stay here again and hope to return some day.
We had a great stay at Rey's place. Check in and out was very simple, the unit was very clean and I would say better than the photos. It was a very convenient location.
Great condo! Lovely king sized, soft bed! Close to hot tub, pool, and sauna! Right across the hall. :) very clean. Great kitchen- fully equipped except for oven.
Great location, facilities and experience all round. Staff were extremely accommodating to my earlier than expected arrival time. Thanks!
Rey was quick to respond to our stay request. He also went out of his way to ensure our check-in went well. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious for the two of us. Definetly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Canmore.
