Modern. Clean. Spacious.
Next to trendy Main street, this 1 bedroom condo is just minutes from Broadway and is close to downtown, Chinatown, False Creek waterfront, and hip Commercial Drive. It's quiet, private, and enjoys a huge 2nd floor balcony with a park view.
Relax in the bright and spacious main room with giant windows overlooking 'Dude Chilling Park'.
The location is Vancouver's best kept secret. Right on "Dude Chilling Park", it is literally close to everything in Vancouver, while only three blocks from hip and bustling main street it is on a quiet residential block.
We're a 5-star rated airbnb hope you can come enjoy our place!
It's a very clean and modern condo with big windows. Sliding doors offer access from both the bedroom and the main room to a big balcony overlooking a park and quiet street (2nd floor). It's very private, the tree and shrub coverage combined with a quiet area make it seem like you're out of the city.
The bedroom is cozy and has an incredibly comfortable queen bed, additionally there is a pull-out sofa in the living room. Our bathroom is enormous and clean. At 750 square feet, the place will easily accommodate 2 adults + children.

This is the best neighbourhood in Vancouver! Up-and-coming Mount Pleasant is safe, cool, and has nice mountain views. Centrally located, right on "Dude Chilling Park" (as featured on Jimmy Kimmel), this place is right in the heart of cool shops, cafes, shopping, and funky restaurants. It's in an enclave of work-live spaces with plenty of artistic folks abound.
Coming in to shop? You're in luck. Main Street's got it all.
Enjoy a water-side stroll in the sun while you walk to a game/concert at BC Place/Rogers Arena.
Food and drink? Brassneck craft brewery is a 5 minute walk. Tonnes of 4-star+ Yelp rated eateries surrounding our place, unique and cool bakeries and places to suit all dietary needs. This is a foodie and coffee-lover's paradise.
We have a Walkscore of 100 here and are in a transportation hub, plus you have access to two bikes. Near the intersection of Main and Broadway you have unlimited travel options in every direction:
* Airport: 20 minute SkyTrain to Broadway-City Hall & 10 minutes by bus
* Attractions: Chinatown, False Creek, and Science World are walkable from here. Queen Elizabeth Park, Stanley Park, and Kitsilano Beach are 15 minutes driving or 25 minutes by transit.
* Car: is this how you're arriving? We have free, secure underground parking in the building. There are tonnes of Car2Go, Modo, and Zipcar car sharing vehicles in the neighbourhood.
* Downtown: 10 minutes on transit/taxi, 15 minutes by bike, 30 minutes walking
* Eating and Drinking: You're right in the middle of it all! Check out Mount Pleasant in Yelp or Urban Spoon.
* Shopping: Right on Main and Broadway you've got unlimited options for all the best shops, Mount Pleasant is, in my opinion, Vancouver's best neighbourhood.
Other Things to Note
The Mount Pleasant Community Centre and Library is two blocks away, it's a brand new 'green' building. The gym here is top-notch and well-equipped. A single use pass should cost you $5-7 if you want to pump iron, use cardio machines, or hit the sauna.
No pets and no smoking please (in suite or in balcony). We live in a quiet building full of respectful condo owners and ask that you are clean and quiet.
Very nice place in a very nice location! Hosts are super nice too, even give my husband and I a bottle of wine and chocolates to celebrate Valentine's day! Besides that, they provided us great recommendations of restaurants and places to go. The place is clean, bright and very cozy. Totally recommend!
Location was great. Next to park. Seems family friendly. 3 blocks from main street with many restaurants and shops. Short drive into downtown.
Apartment is spacious, clean, and very functional. Laura even left us milk and some breakfast items. Note that there is no TV in the apartment in case that is important to you. There is parking underground which worked out well for us because it rained every day while we were there.
We only met Laura and she was great. Took the time to map out some sights and restaurants for us.
Great experience, would definitely stay here again. The condo is central to tons of restaurants/shops and public transit. Keane was super helpful, accommodating and nice.
Nice and spacious place. I felt very comfortable. Nice hosts. They even lent me a bike. It's a nice neighbourhood and not far from downtown.
Good place. Very very conveniently located. Nice neighbourhood. Spacious apartment with very welcoming hosts. Little things taken of in advance. All in all exactly what you expect and more.
Thanks Keane and Laura. Hope to visit back soon.
Keane was a great host -- very welcoming, gave great suggestions on places to see/eat during our brief stay. The apartment is in a great area which was fun to discover. It was also very spacious and clean -- will look to stay again on future trips to Vancouver. Make sure you hit foundation for their nachos.
I live with my wife, Laura, and love to meet people from new places and show them the best city in the world - Vancouver! We're both environmentally conscious and active and have traveled extensively around the globe. My major interests are travel, sports, and music; I also love cycling, hiking, coffee shops, nature, and games.
Want travel advice for the West Coast? MORE than happy to oblige you.
I like to keep life simple and enjoy my freedom and my place reflects that - it's very minimalist, modern, clean, and cool.
Five things I can't live without? Coffee, the metric system, green space, newspapers, my bike. I work at the Simon Fraser University Centre for Dialogue and am privileged to be able to make a difference in the world and find myself around interesting people.
