My family and I love staying in this house and the 2 bedroom bungalow across the street. I grew up in Lynch and am familiar with all the houses. The first time I made a reservation here I was a bit skeptical, but these houses are amazingly well done. Lots of windows and light an…

This house was spotless, which we really appreciated. We were there with the in-laws and had a total of 4 adults and 3 kids. We never felt cramped. The house was great!

A really cute house in an endlessly interesting location. Eric was responsive, friendly, and extremely easy to deal with. Check out his coffee shop, the Portal 31 mine tour, and the old depot (which holds an astonishing collection of local memorabilia).

We had a blast in the city of Lynch! It was a central location for riding but the town was slightly depressing but made up for it with the spacious house and history of the coal mining town. It was a little inconvenient to not be able to get food after five in town but the local…

Hey Tony - I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting your group of motorcycle touring buddies again. Our city is located in a beautiful area with some great riding; and, we're experiencing an exciting re-birth. I rode Black Mountain (aka "the Black Snake", which has more turns than the famous Tail of the Dragon without the crazy traffic) yesterday and the Virginia side is getting fresh pavement. The Kentucky side was done earlier this year.) Thank you for the valuable feedback! All of your suggestions are things we can address to make your next stay even better! (I apologize for not having a directory with the local restaurants and amenities in it yet. There are a number of places to eat within less than 10 miles.) Give me some notice next time and we'll try to ride with you!

Response from Eric:
This is a very quaint, friendly and beautiful area and the house is on a street with other houses all around so I am not sure what you mean by "so off road"? I can only assume you aren't used to being in the mountains. Please come back when you can spend some time at our gourmet coffee shop, mining museum, and state park to see all that this historic town has to offer. Thanks for staying with us.

What a great place to stay! We were needing an AirBnB because we were doing a 100 Mile Endurance Trail Race in the area. Check in was super easy. The house is very nice and clean, amazing kitchen. My favorite part was the mattress in the master bedroom. Very comfortable memor…

Thanks Joe! We enjoyed having your group. I appreciate the kind words, but just for the record, while I wish I owned this beautiful home, I just manage the property, which is owned by Greater Vision, L.L.C. Most all of the furniture in this home is brand new and high quality, including the comfy beds. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!

My wife Sissy and I serve here as missionaries here, running the Lamp House Coffee shop in Lynch as a means to provide some part-time work, basic job skills, and a place for the community to gather.
