About this listing
The cottage is located on part of the "seven mile miracle" which hosts the world’s most premier surfing competitions including the Super Bowl of wave riding- Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. We are less than 5 minutes from Waimea Bay and Pipeline.
I took this at Pipe Masters 2013 standing on the beach. If you've never seen Pipeline in winter, it's a must-see experience!
You must love dogs as we have one and she is very friendly. Beach towels and beach umbrellas are provided for your use. Laniakea (turtle beach), Sunset, Pipeline, Ted's Bakery, Shark's Cove, and Waimea Bay are a short 5 minute drive away. We are 7 minutes to Haleiwa town. Bicycles, surfboards, snorkel gear, or SUP boards can be rented close by.
Ceiling fan and amazon fire TV with Netflix app in each room.
The bathroom is shared with one other guest room.
We also have a non-private hot water outdoor shower for a bikini/board shorts type outdoor shower if you wish!
There is a great snorkel spot in front of our home during the summer months.
Our home was built in 1952 and has all the charms of "Old Hawaii".
Guests will have access to the room from the main living areas. You are welcome to use our kitchen for light meals or snacks, we just ask that you clean up after yourself. We have electronic locks so you will not need to worry about a key on your trip.

We stayed at Amy, Lawson, and Scout's for 3 days, our only complaint is that we didn't have longer! We couldn't have imagined a better location and our hosts were wonderful. We highly recommended staying with them and we hope to be back someday!
My wife and I stayed 5 days with Amy, Lawson, and Scout and we had a fantastic time. Their house was great. It was in a super location, clean, and everything we were looking for. Lawson and Amy were super hosts always willing to chat and provide suggestions on where to eat. The beach and turtles across the street was amazing. We would love to say with Amy and Lawson again in the future. Thanks Guys!
Fantastic location, two welcoming and laid back hosts, and a super chill dog. What more can you ask for? 100% recommended!
We stayed at Amy and Lawson's home for three short nights and it was the perfect outpost for us. We weren't around much, but we felt welcome and at home when we were. The location was perfect and Amy and Lawson were lovely hosts, with whom we'd happily stay again.
Amy and Lawson's place was a cute, clean beach house and just great. Lawson was so kind to help getting my wife's and my luggage when we first arrived. He gave us a tour and provided everything that we needed. We immediately felt welcomed. I love the community beer fridge! You might want to bring some ear plugs, because the cars passing on the road at night might keep you up if you are sensitive to that. But on the flip side, what separates you from the beach is only the road and the first row houses. Amy and Lawson also made a nice compilation of places to eat in the area and all the important information - very organized! Lawson did an amazing job of building a lot at the house himself. So respect his place and he'll respect you ;-) I definitely would stay here again. Thanks Amy and Lawson!
We absolutely loved staying with Amy, Lawson & Scout :)
Their home is beautiful, clean and perfectly located. We enjoyed our days exploring the North shore with stunning beaches great for snorkeling & even jumping off cliffs! There was copious amounts of food options from finer dining to gourmet food trucks along side beachy shopping boutiques. Lawson generously offered morning coffee to kick off a productive morning :) all in all it was the perfect start to our vacation. Thanks a million!
We reserved on short notice and had no issue checking in and felt very welcome. Lawson met us at the road and even carried our bags in. Cute cottage that is decorated very nicely. Set up so you can use the whole house if you want. Nice yard with deck and hammock. Loved the location!!! Not many choices on the North shore and this was right across the street from a secluded beach. The only draw back was traffic noise. It is a little close to the street and kind of warm with the window closed, but that would not prevent me from recommending Amy's property or staying there again myself.

About the Host, Amy
I love living in Hawaii and try to enjoy an active outdoor life style. Daily walks on the beach and enjoying the surf when possible are just a few things that make this place so special.
