Space to camp ^

The space

We have a colorful space that I would say is Mexican themed. We also have plans to it more international and sustainable. My hope is each guest will help make the house more green and sustainable, so if you have any experience with that we would love the assistance. Also we open to you adding your creative talents to our house in whatever way possible; adding your personal touch. We have had previous guests draw, paint, murals, build shelves, raised beds, plant fruit trees, help build the compost and the list goes on......

The International House is unlike anything I have ever experienced. From sushi night to just wandering around downtown, there is always something fun going on here! Chris and Lissette do an awesome job at making you feel at home. The house and the yard is always well kept, the only problem I had was that most the bikes didn't work or had something broken on them. I can't wait to visit again!

Chris and Lisette went above and beyond my expectations. I stayed at the international house for the St Anthony Triathlon in downtown St. Pete. I had my bike shipped ahead of me and they held it there in a safe spot till I arrived. It's like a 5 min bike ride from downtown and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Also, there is a little market two blocks away that has food and coffee, as well as, a great beer selection. The manager gave me lot of helpful information (things to do, and places to go). The house itself is nice and clean and very eco friendly which I really liked. Overall, it was excellent and I highly recommend to anyone.

Great global hostel vibe with kind people from all over to connect with. I was befriended and invited into many community activities within minutes of arrival. Room is spacious with couch and desk to set up laptop on. Even with other people staying I never experienced much noise nor had to wait for bathroom or shower usage and it's the very next door from this room. Loved the community feel and great places to dine outdoors on the property even. Very near downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts! Loved having a bike at my disposal, it made St. Pete super-accessible without a car. The town is super bike friendly.

As a long term host for airbnb it is a pleasure for me to share my home and wonderful city with you, whether you are coming for vacation, work, play or planning to move here; we look forward to the opportunity to host you. I am from Wisconsin, but have been in St Pete for 5 years. I greatly enjoy this city and all that is has to offer and I look forward to sharing that knowledge and experience with you.

Joni, our manager, is well versed into the community as well and is involved in many things including tiny houses, community gardens and neighborhood initiatives. You will enjoy getting to know her and her family. After living on a sailboat for nine years she is grateful to have found the St Pete community.
