My place is in a secure building, in the heart of San Francisco. This neighborhood has all the amenities you could want, including walking distance to Union Square, Downtown, Chinatown and the Ferry Building on one side and Russian Hill, Nob Hill, Japantown, Hayes Valley and SOMA on the other sides. BART is a short walk away, with lots of major bus routes available on nearby blocks. Some of the city's best restaurants, cafes and bars are right outside the door.
Many of the major bus routes are within a few blocks of the apartment with a few within one block.
BART and MUNI trains have two stops nearby. I highly encourage guests to avoid using the Civic Center stop, as you will need to walk through the heart of the Tenderloin to get to my place, which is a depressed neighborhood and worth avoiding. Instead use the Powell Street stop and walk up Powell Street, take a left onto Post Street to get to my place.
+ Absolutely no smoking please
+ Please be courteous to our neighbors by keeping noise down
Renna's apartment is absolutely stunning in a charming 100 year old well-maintained building. Lots of space and beautifully decorated. Very central location.
Renna is truly a warm and gracious host, and it was a really lovely stay!
My first Airbnb experience. Renna was a great host. Wasn't in my way, and her apartment is spacious and beautiful! Lovely and light.
Renna was incredibly sweet and accommodating. Her apartment is absolutely beautiful and spacious. The only complaint was the street noise at night but Renna provided ear plugs which promptly took care of the issue. Thanks for a great stay!
Very nice stay and great host for my first airbnb ever!
Renna is a perfect host, she is available at any time when you need something and very discrete at the same time.
We barely crossed during the week and you almost can’t notice she is getting in and out from the apartment. You really feel like you have all the space for you.
She had plenty of good suggestions for my day off walk and relax time.
The apartment is perfectly located to attend the exhibitions at Moscone center and to have some shopping in the big malls in Market street.
With a short walk you can reach the Ferry Building Market place to enjoy a nice brunch on the piers or jump on the cable cars to have a hint of classic SF.
The room is wide and bright, sometime noisy overnight but it did not prevent me to have a good sleep.
I would surely consider to stay again next time I will be in San
The apartment was as beautiful as the pictures showed. It was also very comfortable and perfectly located a few of blocks from Union Square. Renna made me feel very welcome. I would absolutely recommend staying with her.
I spent a really good time in Renna's place. Great apartement, good amenties. I felt really welcome with having a lot of space for myself!
Staying at Renna's was a very positive experience. Her apartment is simple, yet elegant with touches of small design detail everywhere you look. The room is nice, very large with a great book selection. The bed is actually a futon, not as comfortable as I would have hoped, but not terrible. Overall, nice accommodations.
Renna was extremely hospitable and I enjoyed our conversations. She offered great suggestions about the neighborhood and was communicative throughout the entire process. I would recommend staying there.

I'm a designer that works with consultancies here in the Bay Area. I'm an amateur collector of mid century furniture. I like a bit of action and relaxation mixed into my travels. But don't over think it. Most likely I buy the tickets, book the first couple of nights of accommodation and go from there.
I love my neighborhood, which is right in the heart of San Francisco, close to all public transit, many of the major neighborhoods, and feels like you are actually in a city. I like to explore the latest greatest restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. And also love a leisurely day outside hiking, or laying around with friends in Dolores Park. I take advantage of northern California, planning many great trips in and around the Bay Area.
