A beautiful twin bedded room is available in a duplex apartment in the charming seaside town of Littlehampton. The apartment is part of a period, listed building and is only a short 2 minute stroll way from the sea, close enough to make it easy to have a swim before breakfast. There is no better place to relax and unwind for a weekend away. Big skies, and on a hot summer's day it is just magic - even in the winter walking on the beach has a particular kind of beauty .
The apartment is next to tennis courts, bowling, and crazy golf. Nearby is the famous, award winning East Beach Cafe which is open all day, all year round and serves delicious food while sitting right next to the beach. Plus there is the Longest Bench which seats over 300 people along Littlehampton's promenade, overlooking the town's award- winning Blue Flag beach.
Littlehampton has direct train links to the centre of London so it is very easy to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The apartment is also a great base for exploring the beautiful West Sussex landscape. Whilst here you must visit the magnificent Arundel Castle, Brighton, Bognor Regis and Chichester ( for the Theatre Festival or racing at Goodwood), and there are wonderful long walks over the Downs as well.
Or you could simply enjoy a long walk by the sea, along the banks of the river Arun, take the ferry across the river and enjoy birdwatching and sun bathing among the sand dunes of West Beach.

Susan is very nice and very open person as she let me stay in her flat by myself when she never did before. She is very interesting, very kind and very friendly. The flat is wonderfull, with nice views of the sea, lots of light, back garden, beutifull kitchen and with so many interesting old little things,is like a musseum. The room also very nice and confortable.I really enjoyed the house very much,I felt like at home really and I wish I could have had more time to have a look all the interesting books on the shelves and to ask Susan more histories about all of the objets in the house.I hope I see you soon again!
We arrived in the teeth of a gale and entered a warm, tranquil home from home. Susan is an excellent host who made us feel very welcome and was very informative about the location. We slept very well in a pleasant comfortable bedroom in a most interesting and sunny flat. The breakfast was truly great with everything one would want. The B and B is very close to the East Beach Cafe designed by Thomas Heatherwick, a must if you stay here. We had a great stay.
Susan was a very welcoming and thoughtful hostess. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast generous. Parking can be an issue but we always managed to find somewhere within a minute's walk. Thank you for a very pleasant stay, Susan.
Susan was a wonderful host and the location of her home was ideal being on the sea front. There was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and Susan provided excellent breakfasts and advice about the local area. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Susan's house near the beach in Littlehampton. We had a great weekend and the location is simply perfect. It's a maximum 3 minute walk to the sea and in between the house and the sea there are some very nice tennis courts, a lawnbowls ground and midget golf place. Susan is a great host as she was really helpful and friendly and even provided the breakfast for us. An absolute recommendation and we will return shortly!
We spent five nights in Susan's lovely home and had a very relaxing time. Susan is a kind accommodating host and thinks of those extra little details that make staying special. Breakfasts were excellent and the beds very comfortable. Littlehampton itself is a peaceful place with great fresh air. Definitely would recommend again even though we were a little unlucky with the weather!
Susan was great - very friendly and welcoming. Communication was first class before the stay and check in and out was flexible to our needs. Susan has a lovely home and made us feel welcome. We only stayed one night and didn't spend much time there as we had made other arrangements for the weekend, which was a shame in a way, as i would have loved to have chilled out in her gorgeous living room, but we just didn't have the time! Really lovely location as well and I wouldn't hesitate in staying there again. The beds were really comfortable as well!
Lovely property, lovely owner! A thoroughly pleasant stay made even better by the charming Susan. Highly recommended!
Susan is a friendly and sympathetic person, was very nice for us to live with her a few days, the house is situated in a quiet area, the living room is very comfortable and has great views, at the back of the house has a nice little yard and prived parking site for the car.
