Our private studio Loft is brand new. It is minimalist, clean, and cozy. We are located on 5-Mile Prairie with beautiful views and a rural feel, but minutes away from anywhere in Spokane. The private entrance stairs and keypad door are located just around the side of the house. The bed is a king-sized, gel-infused, 10 inch memory foam mattress. The futon couch can be made into a twin-sized bed. You'll have access to your own full kitchen and private bathroom.

The space
Everything in the loft is all new. The kitchen is fully-equipped with dishes, utensils, pot & pans, Keurig coffee maker, French press, coffee bean grinder and teapot. We provide coffee, tea, sweetener, sugar, creamer, filtered water, and hot chocolate/cider.
The Roku TV can swivel to face any direction. BluRay player and WiFi provided. You may use our Netflix account. The controls for the heat or A/C are within the studio loft. Sulfate-free soaps/shampoo that are provided.

We are following Airbnb's enhanced cleaning procedures to assure your safety.

If you have an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, you can use our 240 volt,SAE-J1772 charge port, capable of 28 amps.

The studio loft can be equipped with outlet covers upon request.

There is one flight of exterior stairs (16 steps) with hand rails on both sides to access the separate entrance with keypad lock.

There is one step from the kitchen into the laundry room area

Very friendly and quiet neighborhood with one guest driveway parking spot (marked). Six miles/16 min. to downtown Spokane or Gonzaga University. 3.5 miles/8 minutes to Whitworth University. Starbucks is down the hill about 2 miles, only 5 min. away. Sky Prairie Park is one mile away.

My husband Jim and I have lived in Spokane our entire married life - more than 30 years! We love to travel and have taken cruises to the Caribbean and Mexico. Next up, Alaska! We love movies and trying out new restaurants. We are empty-nesters but so thankful our 2 kids have decided to stay in Spokane to pursue their careers. With the extra room now, we decided to convert the loft space above our garage into a private apartment. We really enjoy hosting! Jim works from home and is usually available for any questions in person and I am available by text.
