I live in a 3-bedroom apartment (4th floor with elevator) in a newly renovated apartment house in a quiet green neighborhood called Neuhausen. Streetcar lines 20 and 21 take you to the central railway station and the center within 7 minutes. From there you reach the Oktoberfest by subway lines U4 and U5 within 2 minutes (Theresienwiese).
The Olympic Park (ideal for joggers) with the Olympic Tower offering you an awesome view over Munich (and if the weather gods are with you even as far as to the Alps) is 10 minutes walking distance. In the Tower there is also a very fine restaurant turning around by 360 degrees within an hour.
The streetcar line 12 takes you within 12 minutes to the Nymphenburg castle with its famous royal carriage and porcelaine museums. Its beautiful spacious park invites you for a long walk. How about a classic concert in the castle? I'd be helpful with the tickets.
You stay in a little but cozy modern north-east room looking onto the green backyard, very quiet except for birdsong, a woodpecker and an old owl. Laminate floor, roller blind, single bed 100x220cm with an allergy tested mattress, closet, drawers, (website hidden), DVD player, CD player. Desk with 3 drawers, normal chair without arm rests.
Shared windowless bath with WC and bath tub. Shared south-west balcony and kitchen. Highspeed wireless internet as well as washing mashine and dryer without extra charge. 2 supermarkets, dry cleaner's, drugstore and 3 restaurants within walking distance (2 - 5 minutes). A pharmacy and a dentist in the house.
Breakfast could be provided if requested (2 euros extra per day).
Thank you for visiting and welcome to my home.
I rent out the rooms only to non-smokers, please respect this.
Please show me your passport / ID Card when checking in.

Melita is a very nice host, definitely one of the best person I've met, always willing to help, very kind and always smiling!
The apartment is clean and cozy, very spacious, with really good mattress and very silent.
Located in a perfect position: there are supermarkets and tram stops in 2 minutes walking distance, a pharmacy next to the entrance, a good restaurant/pizzeria around the corner, and just 10 minutes tram to city center. Highly recommended!
Melita was very communicative right from the start, and even emailed me a personally compiled guide of the places to go in Munich. I was welcomed with some water, fruits and even a chocolate on the pillow, which was nice. The apartment was clean, cosy and felt like home. It had everything and the wifi was good as well. It is located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, and is about 10mins tram ride to the city centre, with a supermarket just downstairs. Melita was also very approachable and friendly as well. If i go back to Munich i will gladly stay here again. Highly recommended.
A lovely apartment and Melita was a friendly, warm host. Nice location and she even put together a leaflet for local attractions. Recommended!
Melita was so kinda and helpful! she met us at the train station and showed us how to use the transportation system to and from her apartment! she provided us with many city guides and maps, and even light snacks for breakfast! she was extremely accommodating to our needs and would LOVE to stay with her again, and would highly recommend her to anyone else!
Melita was an excellent host giving me some excellent tips about the city and good clear communication before and throughout the stay. The room is comfortable and more than you need for a short trip to Munich. The location near to Munich's excellent public transport links means it is easy to get around the city to wherever you need.
This was my first trip using Airbnb and i was happy to have had such a good host to break me in.
Thank you Steve, for such a nice review. It definitely helps me keep my status of a super host that I have been awarded about a week or two ago. I'm happy that I could help make your first airbnb stay so enjoyable. I wish you a lot more happy travels and stays with nice airbnb hosts.
a light, clean, and otherwise lovely non smoking apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, minutes from the city centre and a short walk from the excellent Olympic park and flexible use of kitchen and laundry facilities.
I wasn't expecting hotel industry cliches like chocolates on pillows, but my expectations were far exceeded. Melita is now possibly my favourite person in Munich, immensely kind, friendly and helpful - as this was my first Airbnb trip my new concern is that any future trips may fall short of this one.

I am a happy mother of two wonderful boys. The older one studied and worked in the US for nine years, the younger one studies physiotherapy in Miami.
Jogging, swimming and hiking keep me in shape. I like variety in all fields of life. Variety sharpens my mind and keeps the world going.
I lived in Sweden for a couple of years. Beautiful country. I traveled to England, Spain and its islands, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Hungary, France, Greece, Denmark. Awesome spots in all of them. My traveling highlights were Utah's Canyonlands, surreal and fascinating, the majestic Rockies in Colorado, the prarie of Kansas, Cape Town and its Table Mountain and The Cape of Good Hope. I would love to travel to Hawaii, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Australia, Norway, Canada, Bali, Iceland, Morocco, Kenia, to mention only a few spots still on my list.
I like Mediterranean food, German and Austrian pastries and cakes, South African, Spanish, Italian and Croatian wines. I'm a respectful and humorous person eager to meet nice people from all over the world. Are you going to be one of them?
I'll meet you at my place with a smile and you surely know: A smile opens the door to the world ....
