Great Hosts, Beautiful house, 5 minutes from the beach, easy and pleasant walk into Hastings old town. We had a great weekend and would definitely recommend.
This is an amazing welcoming home from two equally amazing sweet hosts. I loved my room: filled with books and a great view, it just couldn't have been any better. The only thing I was really sorry for is that I only planned a couple of days in St Leonards, I would have loved to stay longer because it's the kind of place where you can be at ease...
I have just returned from a lovely welcoming stay with Adrienne, Nick, family, Herbie and other guests. A warm, arty, and interesting couple, breakfast conversations were never dull!
As I was performing at the nearby White Rock Theatre they were very understanding of my unsociable theatrical hours and flexible about checking in/out times etc. With an ideal location a stone's throw from the picturesque beach, I can highly recommend a stay at The Lawn with the Hunters.
I really liked Adrienne and Nick - they made me feel welcome and were easy company. Was great to stay in a quiet part of Hastings, which I may not have discovered if I was more central. The house has a good feel and I enjoyed the sea views from my room. The other guests were lovely and interesting to listen to. As my first air B and B experienced, I feel lucky to have stayed in such a pleasant place and met such great people!
The minute I got home from Adrienne's house I went straight on Facebook to tell everyone I know that they should go and stay there too. We had such a relaxing time in their big rambling house full of paintings and Persian rugs. My daughter loved having a go on the piano and playing in the enormous treehouse outside; I loved lying in bed in the morning in our lovely little top floor room and hearing only seagulls congregating at the nearby shore. The family were extremely kind to us and I will definitely be staying there again.
We stayed at the lawn for 6 nights and had a really nice time, the hosts were so lovely and although we didn't spend much time at the house it was interesting, very arty and welcoming. We were performing at the Stade (about 30 mins walk) and the family came to watch one night which was lovely of them. Brilliant location, St Leonard's is cool, make sure you visit the Love cafe and michaela's cute cakes.
It was really great !!! to stay one week with Adrienne and Nick in their wonderful house - in this beautiful room – in the most wonderful streets of this area. The athmosphere was very relaxed. I loved the breakfast talks about everything and anything – and I hope, that my english has made progress on my next visit ;-)
