  • While looking for a hotel/B and B near my son's apartment on Grand Army Plaza, I came across Steffi's place and it was a perfect location for my week in Brooklyn.
The apartment didn't disappoint me. It is precisely as the photos indicate, very simple, clean and lovely, with many thoughtful touches. I appreciated the handy hair dryer and the umbrella! There is street noise during the day but it soon becomes background noise. The only challenge for me were the two flights of stairs which I managed to do three or more times a day by going slowly.
The location was ideal for morning coffee shops and other meals as well as a Key Foods nearby. Near the park and the Saturday Farmer's Market too. All in all, it was delightful and I hope to return.

  • We stayed for 6 nights at Steffi's apartment. We loved it. Steffi was a great host, very detail oriented, responsive and helpful. Her place was cozy, comfortable, light-filled and very peaceful on some cold NYC days. I loved the little table in the bay window for some breakfast and morning work. Thanks Steffi!

  • My boyfriend and I have friends in Park Slope and we picked to stay Steffi's place due to the location. The apartment is perfect - very cozy, clean and warm. Excellent selection of books too.

If the apartment gets too hot due to the central heating (we were there in the middle of Winter) you can just open a window, so that was great since we like to sleep in colder temperatures ... we're from Canada ;-)

In terms of location, the apartment is a couple blocks from a great diner, restaurants and a liquor store. Also, easy to get to the subway system within a couple blocks.

And Steffi is just great to deal with, super responsive with her answers. I rent my place out too and I am impressed with Steffi's patience and great attitude.

    Overall the experience was perfect!

    Thank you Steffi.

  • A very nice, cozy apartment, with everything you need, in one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Brooklyn. Steffi was always very fast in replying to my text messages whenever i had a quick question. She left her apartment in a very, very clean state. I became a big fan of her red "Womb" chair and definitely consider staying at her place again when I'm back in the area.

  • Steffi's apt. was perfect: extremely comfortable, excellent kitchen supplies, wonderful quilt on the bed! (for those vortex days), good book collection -- extremely clean and lovely place. She responded immediately to any questions we had as well as to our initial inquiry about her place. Easy access to subway, shops, markets and a beautiful neighborhood. We would stay here again.

  • The apartment is really nice and cosy, very clean, lots of light, organized and comfortable too! It's a perfect choice for a couple. Location is also good, the house is a traditional 4 floors house and apt is on the third. Transportation is convenient, 3 metro lines at 5-10 minutes walking distance. I didn't personally meet the owner Steffi but she has been precise and helpful in the communication. Overall a great choice, I recommend it!
