Nestled in the foothills of the southern Sierra Nevada, this riverfront mountain cottage is just 10 minutes from Sequoia National Park.

The cottage has a full kitchen and living room, along with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Although it may not be needed with such ample outdoor activities, the space is equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth speakers, and an Apple TV.

The space
Perched on 10 acres of rolling hills along the North Fork of the Kaweah River, Brown Thorn Cottage and Ranch could be its own National Park. Oak trees are dotted across the hill side and the short river trail from the cottage winds around ancient granite boulders shaped by thousands of years of snow melt. The land is home to wild turkey and deer, both of which may be spotted from the porch while you enjoy your morning coffee. Feel free to interact with our friendly pets on the property-horses, chickens, two cats and our property dogs Mable and Ellie. The space is cozy and chic; all the amenities and comfort of home with all the allure of a modern mountain cottage.

While Brown Thorn Ranch is a beautiful piece of land unto itself, it makes for the perfect base camp to explore world renown Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, the tallest mountain in the contiguous United States, and the beautiful southern Sierra Nevada.

Home to artists and outdoor enthusiasts, Three Rivers is a quiet mountain town with a few cafes, coffee shops, and markets, all within a couple miles of the property.

There will be an additional $50 cleaning fee per dog. Maximum of two dogs during each stay and keep all pets off furniture. This will be requested via Airbnb upon check in.
