Where you’ll be

Sumida-ku, Tōkyō-to, Japan

The Skytree (Oshiage) area is one of the most famous tourist spots in Tokyo, as it has the famous Skytree Tower -- known as the landmark of Tokyo, and Tokyo Solamachi shopping complex next to it. It is a well-known neighborhood for its delicious Motsu-yaki (grilled intestines) restaurants!
There is also Sky Bus Tokyo -- water buses taking you around the skytree area. The Skytree neighborhood is located right next to Asakusa. Sensoji Temple in Asakusa is one of the most significant temples in Tokyo. After a long day of sightseeing, let’s head to Hoppy Street, a popular place in Asakusa to get drinks at cheap bars while experiencing a lively yet nostalgic, old downtown atmosphere.
Our apartment is very close to public transportation (Skytree/Oshiage Station) making it easy to access to the main districts and airports. You can also take the train and get to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa (7 mins) to visit The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. There is also a bus in front of the house that takes you to Oshiage, Ryogoku, and Kinshicho! Ryogoku has Edo Museum, Ryogoku Sumo Hall, and Sumida Hokusai Museum -- the best places to learn about Japanese history. If you are up for something sweet, visit "Jerrys Popcorn Coco Happiness" located just a 2-minute walk away from the station for healthy popcorn made with natural coconut oil. It also takes just 2 minutes to get to "Coto-mono-michi at Tokyo", a unique place that offers craft experiences with many factories and craftsmen in Japan.
Moreover, if you take 15 minutes walk and get to Tobu Skytree Line next to the Skytree Tower, you can ride to Nikko! Nikko is a famous spot for people who’re interested in traditional Japanese streets, Nikko National Park, and hot springs. A nonstop train to Nikko takes about 111 minutes from the station, so you don’t have to stay overnight at Nikko.
Also, you can visit Tokyo Disneyland from the house by using Tokyo Disney Resort Bus. From Kinshicho bus station, just take the designated bus, and it will take 45 minutes to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea.
